A little background, I come from health/wellness space, I'm in my third trimester with Ferritin and Iron dropping rapidly/anemia symptomatic for dizziness/extreme fatigue and more, and while this issue is the most common during pregnancy there is absolutely no active management of anemia in our medical/OB care system. I even met with a hematologist that had nothing to say or recommend to help me with my symptoms (I can't to do Iron infusions either). So I dove into research mode, found Ferritin+ and an Iron Patch for skin absorption, I was immediately intrigued by the "tech" of iron being protein bound. I put together an "aggressive" iron/ferritin boosting protocol for myself (think multilayering different routes of abosrption), and following it for a week before testing my blood levels. Well, after just one week my Hemoglobin continued to stabilize at a "decent level", and my ferritin shot from 5 to 21 putting me in a normal range (and counting), no symptoms of dizziness anymore, absolutely no GI reaction. I am beyond amazed, and excited for this solution and spike in ferritin in just 1 week! I will continue to boost and take this and re test in a month to see where I'm at. So seriously Thank you and I will be refining my protocol and sharing it with people!

I’ve been taking this iron supplement for a few weeks and so far I’m really happy with it. The delayed release formula is gentle on my stomach no nausea or discomfort like I’ve had with other iron supplements. It’s easy to swallow and I feel like my energy levels are improving, which is exactly what I needed. Definitely a solid choice if you’re looking for something gentle but effective.

I hope this review is helpful for others. I bought this iron supplement to bring my iron up as well as my ferritin. I started taking it and had a blood test exactly three weeks later. My iron total and iron % saturation came back into optimal range and my ferritin level at initial testing was at the low end at 8 and came up to 12 by testing at three weeks. Not optimal but I believe it will be on the next test. I was mindful to also include iron rich foods such as more spinach, etc. into my diet and things like vitamin C containing foods along with the iron containing foods to encourage iron absorption. I limited or avoided all iron absorption inhibiting foods as best I could during the three weeks prior to testing. I don’t eat animal products such as beef as I have been vegetarian/pescatarian for most of my life. This is a plant based supplement and I’m very grateful to the Lord to have found this product and that it works so well and so fast. I take one capsule each morning with a glass of lemon water on an empty stomach and wait an hour minimum before consuming anything else. No negative side effects at all for me. A true answer to prayer. Unfortunately it is now unavailable on Amazon. I pray they bring it back.

Love this iron supplement, very hard to find a plant based nonheme iron supplement that doesn't have other vitamins mixed in with it. I don't know why there is so much criticism in these reviews about the sustained release capsules, I haven't noticed any problems with this and I don't even know how you would measure whether the sustained release is happening. However there is one big problem - the packaging. It's crazy. They package the capsules to protect them from the apocalypse. While this sounds great, if you're taking the pills everyday, you get tired of fighting to access each capsule. There box has several blisters with each capsule in its own compartment. Each blister is coated in a thick whiter paper. Underneath the thick white paper is a second coating of tin foil. Up to this day, I have not been able to find a way to open the paper and the tin foil by hand, they are so thick it's impossible. If you try to pop the capsule out of the blister like most people do in this case, the capsule will break because the paper and tin foil are so thick. So my only alternative is to cut each capsule out with a pair of scissors. After a few weeks of doing this each day when you want to take the pill, it gets tiring and you start wondering why the company hasn't fixed this annoyance.

Terrific product. I am low in Ferritin, and it raised my blood levels significantly. Highly recommend.

Best iron for me and I've tried them all

This supplement is great and has really helped me a lot. Feels like quality ingredients, and the glass bottle is definitely the way to go if you're going to be taking this more long-term. This was recommended to me by my doctor, this brand specifically, so I can vouch that it is reputable.

This got my iron levels up enough for me to be within normal ranges by the time I was ready to deliver my baby.
