This is a solid option to mount your phone in your car (or other places I assume). Lets just get the magnet out of the way: it is strong enough and does the trick. The real issue with these types of mounts is how well they adhere to surfaces including various weather conditions. I waited almost 1.5 months to write this review to make sure that the mount would not loosen in the summer heat, I have it mounted to my front windshield in my car, and can say with confidence that thing stays secure regardless of how hot my car gets/direct sunlight/even cooler and moist conditions.Positives: Very sturdy and easy to install; Phone stays stable while driving and I have not had my phone fall; Suction function is easy to use by just twisting; Viewing angles are pretty straight forward since this is not bulky; Good value for money.Negatives: This does not adhere to all surface types - it works incredible on glass (think front windshield - but will not stick well to certain types of synthetic materials or rounded surfaces. I have a Cadillac ATS which is a small sedan and between the speaker material and the other material on the front dash/under the windshield being rounded, I had no option but to mount this to the front windshield. I don't mind it and it doesn't block my driving view but I would make sure that you have a spot to mount this on your vehicle before purchasing.Overall, this has been incredibly sturdy and holds up well in all weather conditions. It is a good value for the price and if you have a magsafe case and the right surface to mount this, you should be happy with your purchase and feel like your phone is secure.

Very strong and durable. The suction to your dash is strong also. No residue or anything when moved. The only issue would be is that the surface needs to be flat so that it stay in place. Other than that it's great for driving since you shouldn't have your phone in your while driving.

I have really been happy with this magnetic car phone holder. The seal is very tight and doesn't loosen with putting my phone on or taking it off of the magnet. You don't even need a super smooth area. I was afraid I might not get a good seal because my dash board has a bit of a grain to it...not much, but enough to see and feel. That hasn't been an issue for me at all though. My phone case has the magnet on it but even if it didn't, the stand comes with a magnet that you can adhere to the back of your phone. Movement felt a little tight at first when trying to get it at the right angle, but it seems to have loosened up enough that adjusting it isn't any problem at all. I seriously highly recommend this thing.! I drive a Kia Seltos and none of the air vent phone holders I tried actually fit well. Besides, it kind hijacks the vent which isn't good in the summer when you need all the A/C you can get. So this gadget has been awesome!!

Magnet is strong suction is ok as long as its a smooth surface

No issues so far. Durable and sturdy. Well designed. Easy to use. No issues with my phone falling off or not staying steady. Price is reasonable. I would recommend.

It's easy to place, after making sure to select a mostly flat surface. setting the suction is easy, releasing is easy. only problem I had was it wouldn't rotate in place. the main arm moved in one plane, along the base hinge.

If you have a magsafe case for your phone and you're trying to find a phone holder that works with it and attaches easily to your dash, this phone holder is absolutely perfect for that! I had one of the phone holders for my magsafe case that attached to the air vent and now that the summers are getting warmer right now I wanted to be able to use that air vent and point it at me. Having this phone holder and how it attaches to the dashboard in the car it's easy to adjust and attach to the dashboard. I think this is a pretty solid built quality phone holder
