Direct fit for C&C 420. Although the inner diameter appears threaded, it slipped right on. After two filter cleanings - it has held its shape and has not collapsed or corroded.

This is a pentair part and will outlast those cheaper ones , had some of those aftermarket ones they are junk get this one
