Perfect EDC light, I have carried this light everyday for about a year now and will buy another when this thing quits. It is extremely durable, the outer coating is tough and doesn't scuff or scratch easily. The clip is tough, doesn't bend easily if you snag it on something like competitors. If you do happen to bend it, you can just straighten it, unlike competitors that would just snap. I love the magnet on the end, working underneath a vehicle or a piece of equipment, just magnet it to anything and you got light. Although if your a welder/fabricater, the magnet will collect shavings, but blowing it off with compressed air is a easy fix. The cover/glass over the lights itself is also durable. Its taken metal sparks and other debris and it's hasn't broke nor melted. The battery life is crazy on it. I maybe charge it once a month and typically it's only on half battery. I've only drained it once, after having it on for half a day. I don't use the laser, but it's decently powerful if needed. The UV light is decent, but could use room for improvement. I mean if your using it that much, just buy a designated UV light. If your thinking a small slim light, it's not. Its also not large. I came from a stream light wedge so Im used to the size. Fits nicely in your pocket. You now it's there, but it's not uncomfortable. The only thing I don't like is the 3 stages on the main light. When you press the botton, it automatically just turns it on the middle setting. I wish it would stay on whatever setting you had it on last. If your thinking about buying it, just buy it. You won't regret it!

I just got my Navy Blue OLIGHT Arkfeld Ultra delivered today, and I already love it. As a longtime Olight fan with multiple models in my collection—from the Baton 3 to the Warrior Mini 2—I had high hopes for this one. Right out of the box, it delivers exactly what I’ve come to expect from the brand: high performance, premium build quality, and smart design choices. The Arkfeld Ultra doesn’t just live up to that standard—it brings a unique form factor and functionality that make it stand out. Let’s start with the design. The flat body took me by surprise the first time I saw it online, but now that I’ve held it, I get it. It’s slim enough to fit comfortably in your pocket without creating that awkward flashlight bulge that most cylindrical lights do. It slips right into the coin pocket of my jeans, and I can already tell this is going to be a true EDC item for me. The Navy Blue finish is sharp and subtle—professional looking, but still stylish. Functionality-wise, the Arkfeld Ultra punches above its size. The 1400-lumen output is no joke. I tested it outside just after sunset and it lit up the backyard with ease. The beam has a great blend of throw and flood, giving you both distance and coverage. I also love the inclusion of both a white LED and a green laser. The laser is bright, clean, and practical for pointing things out or just having fun with the dog. Switching between modes is simple and intuitive with the central selector switch. One feature that’s been surprisingly useful is the memory function. It remembers your last used brightness level and goes right back to it, which saves time and hassle. The lockout mode is another smart addition—especially if you’re carrying it in your pocket or a bag where accidental activation could drain the battery. Speaking of which, battery life seems solid so far, and recharging is as easy as ever with Olight’s magnetic USB cable. Build quality is, as usual with Olight, top-tier. The body is made from anodized aluminum and feels sturdy, but not overly heavy. The clip is strong and well-positioned. I also appreciate the flat tail that lets you stand it up for hands-free lighting. The buttons are tactile, responsive, and well-placed for one-handed operation. Olight really knows how to make lights that feel good in your hand. Now, I’ve only had this light for a day, so I can’t speak to long-term durability just yet. But based on my experience with other Olights (some of which have survived drops, rain, and months of rough use), I’m confident this one will hold up just as well. It’s also IPX7-rated, so it can handle the elements when needed. Pros: • Flat body design fits perfectly in your pocket • 1400 lumens with great beam spread and throw • Green laser adds a fun and useful touch • Magnetic USB charging is convenient • Excellent build quality and tactile controls • Memory function and lockout mode are genuinely helpful Cons: • The flat design might take getting used to if you’re coming from traditional flashlights • Not the cheapest light out there, but you’re paying for quality Final Thoughts: If you’re already an Olight fan like me, the Arkfeld Ultra is a must-have. It offers something different with its flat design without compromising on power or performance. Even if you’re new to the brand, this flashlight is a great place to start. It’s compact, versatile, and powerful—everything you want in an everyday carry light. The green laser is a cool bonus, and the fit and finish are as good as it gets. I’m seriously considering picking up another one to stash in my work bag or glove box. Well done, Olight.

Not as powerful as some lights on the market, but strong enough to do anything in normal circumstances. I like the different brightness levels, and the UV is fun for catching scorpions and upsetting people when you're at their house. I don't know what I'll use the laser for besides a toy for my cat, but it's still a nice feature. I would recommend this to anyone who wants an easy to carry, recharging flashlight

I've included three pictures showcasing the UV light, the laser pointer, and the lowest brightness setting - because this flashlight deserves a proper introduction! After months of using it, I’ve realized it’s more than just a tool - it’s a brilliant teacher, guide, and performer all in one. With its UV light, I’ve learned exactly which spots in hotel rooms to avoid (trust me, some things are better left unseen). As an instructor’s assistant, the built-in laser pointer has made explaining concepts much easier. And when it comes to visibility, this flashlight’s three brightness levels each serve a distinct purpose - whether I need a subtle glow or full-on illumination. But here’s where things get wild: this flashlight is basically a magician. The battery life? Almost unreal. I’ve been using it daily for eight months, and I’ve only charged it twice! Then there’s the charging itself - magnetic induction with a seriously strong magnet built right into the base. On top of that, I can clip it to my belt or attach it to my hat, making it the ultimate hands-free sidekick. Now, to add a little context to the rest of this review - I travel across the country working with maintenance professionals across different industries. And if there’s one unspoken truth in the fix-it world, it’s that we have a deep, secret affixion with flashlights. Over my 50-plus years, I’ve owned plenty, but none have impressed me like this one. I take it everywhere. So much so that I’ve been stopped at airports multiple times because people assumed it was a knife! Once they realized what it was, they were genuinely impressed by its multifunctionality. Every maintenance pro I’ve introduced to it has the same reaction: this is the best flashlight they’ve ever seen. Some have tried going the budget route with a cheaper version but ultimately came back to this one. No contest - when it comes to capabilities, features, and sheer reliability, this flashlight stands above the rest. Man… this flashlight ROCKS!
