Will this help with scrubbing a cast iron grill pan?

Yes it will. Just remember it is a very thick pad and they are aggressive. It's probably not the best pad for getting in between tight grooves and areas that require a lot of articulation. Scotch Brite makes good pads and you'll pay for them. After heavy cleaning you can count on having to dispose of the pad. Use some course salt and never use soap on your cast iron and you'll be good to go.

May it be used on an non stick grill?

Absolutely yes. I use mine on a non stick griddle top.

Can these be cleaned in the dishwasher?

I do wash them in the dishwasher.
