We've been addicted to the iPhone app TMSoft's Brown Noise setting since my daughter was born 4 years ago. However, I've been using it less and less for her due to fear of wearing out my phone. I decided to look and see if there were any decent, cheap-ish options on Amazon. I was expecting to pay $50+ for a decent sound machine.This has a great, low brown noise setting that my daughter and I love (like waves rushing together, a deep white noise sound that is the BEST at erasing outside noises). There is a lullaby setting that my daughter loves, which I switch to brown noise after she falls asleep so cars, dogs, etc don't wake her up. (It doesn't really cover any noises, but it relaxes her.) There is a range of white noise settings that my husband enjoys, as he prefers the higher noises. I enjoy cycling through the deeper brown noise settings, the medium noise settings (would that be pink?) and the higher white noise settings.Good volume control, whether you want it very quiet or very loud. It is directional, but I solved that by pointing the machine away from the sleeping person and bouncing it off a wall. No discernible loop from the settings I've tried.After a month, I'm back to purchase another one for the other bedroom.

I’ve purchased The Dome, which doesn’t travel well at all, and Lectrofan (my favorite) which has volume glitches after about 6 months. This product sparked my interest with solid reviews and dual speakers. However, it has not deliver what I expected. ALL of the nature sound audibly repeat within 6 secs. The white noise seems to have a tonal repeater underneath that drives me nuts.I love the actual white noise option for a deep sound. It is very full and soothing. Unfortunately, after the novelty wears off of the great sound, I can’t stop hearing the tone repeating.

I needed a machine w/ an audio outlet and this is the best machine I've ever used. From many choices, I found the low pitch "white noise" which works for me. I live in NYC and there's monster HVAC unit in a landing near our bedroom window.Easily adjusting the volume knob, I found the right volume which cancels out the outside noise and is low enough for me to sleep. For those who use them, there are many nature and fan noises from which to choose. It has a volume "knob" which is easy and more accurate than pushing buttons. Small but plenty of volume.Once you set a particular white noise, that noise will automatically repeat every time you turn on the machine.

The media could not be loaded.  As always, HOUSBAY makes fantastic products and has fantastic customer service.The device is not battery operated, but it has a plug-in charger with a USB port in the charger. This makes it environmental friendly, and you can use any USB charger, in case you lose yours. This makes the product easy to use and easily accessible.There are twenty-eight options. Twelve for Fan Sounds and twelve for White Noises. The four preset options (Forest, Summer Night, Lullaby, and Rain) are amazing quality. My personal favorite is Rain.The volume control is amazing. It's already loud on its lowest setting, and quality isn't lost when you raise the volume.The headphone jack works very well!The timer is separated into 15, 30, 60, and 90 minute options. You can shut it off by pressing the button after 90 minutes. The LED indicator makes it easy to keep track of the timer.Overall, this is a fantastic product, and it works well with the HOUSBAY alarm clock.

I'm an Electrical Engineer and in the late 80s I designed my own white noise generator. I would stuff my own PC boards and place them in antique radios that I gave to friends (and used myself). This little unit provides all of the sounds necessary for white noise so that you can enjoy a peaceful sleep while masking car doors slamming, loud cars, dogs barking, doors slamming in a hotel, noise from adjacent hotel rooms, and especially snoring. I was pleasantly surprised to hear how loud this unit can handle the sounds. This makes an excellent gift for someone at a very reasonable price. Especially, for those that travel.

I got this sound machine to drown out the noise of my boxer puppy's loud human like snoring and other common household noises.I used it for the first time last night and it works GREAT. I used to be woken up by my dog snoring right next to my face and what not. Last night I slept clean through without issue, so the machine did it's job.There's multiple sounds to choose from and the timer option is a great feauture. I only wish the timer had multiple hour options instead of just 90 minutes max.The sound quality is fantastic as well. There's also a headphone port if you'd like to use a set of headphones instead.All in all, I'm very satisfied with the way the machine performs. Thankfully I can sleep through the night now.

I really liked the sound quality of the speaker. Its compact size speakers produce nice low / hi pitches. Convenient sleep timer is a plus. It has 12 fan sounds / 12 white noises / Forest / Summer Night / Rain / Lullaby sounds. The buttons are reasonably easy to operate and the unit memorizes the last played sound when switched on next time. The unit is sturdy and has a non-slip base. It is slightly heavier than one would think for the size. The unit is loud enough for a large bedroom. It also comes with a headphone jack.It comes with a USB power adapter (1amps) and detachable USB cable that has standard USB on one end to connect to adapter and the other end has a “coaxial power connector”. I wish it had a micro USB on the other end so that we could use regular cell phone charging cables.I wish there was an aux port or a blue tooth connection! This works well as designed and does what it is supposed to do.
