The whole point of these shoes is that they're flexible, including the sole. If you can't walk barefoot on the surfaces you want to use these on, you probably don't want these. But they're _exactly_ what I want - feels like barefoot, with just a tiny bit of protection for the sole of my foot. The insoles are a little bit stiffer than the sole, and (for me, at least) tended to slip and fold inside the shoe; they're also some kind of polyester, slightly fuzzy and (again, for me) rather hot. I replaced them with cotton insoles on a silicon base, which are as flexible as these soles and work perfectly for me (Soxsols). I love the colors - though I may get some plainer ones for work purposes. I will be getting more of these. I don't think they'll last long - six months, maybe? Which, at this price, is just fine.

I absolutely LOVE how these water socks act like socks and actually form and suction to your feet and stay on your foot! I've been blasted and tumbled by waves as an uncoordinated mid-30s mother and these puppies stayed put! Previously I tried the watersocks of my childhood that have the velcro and the more shoe-like bottom and while those are better for walking on land they fly off my feet in the ocean faster than you can say, "Watch out, there's a wave!"The sizing does run a bit small. I am a 8.5 to 9 in women's shoe so I got the 8.5-9.5 option. It fits well but the tips of my toes are coming a bit off the end of the sole of the watersock.The sole is the only lining and its super thin so not good for walking long distances on land. It DOES, however, effectively cushion your foot from rocks and shells in the ocean.I love them so much I just bought some for my kids and will probably be buying myself another pair soon!

I bought 2 pairs of the same size and initially it looked like 1 of the shoes was bigger than the other 3. I checked they were all marked 38/39 bc it was a noticeable difference like a whole size looking difference. My kid tried them on and she had no issues. Both fit perfect. So I think it was just the way it was compressed bc they come flat. They are super comfortable and I think they will be perfect for canoe trips. Right now they are wearing them in the pool (just to try out) and there's been no issues of slipping off or becoming uncomfortable

These were very comfortable, they have a thin innersole cushion. They run true to size. I wear a 9 and purxhased the 40/41 size. They looked exactly as pictured when i first put them on. The hotel concierge asked me where I purchased them because she wanted a pair too! I wore them for a week in the Dominican Republic....I wore them in the pool (scratchy concrete), on the beach (coral and rocks + hot sand) around the resort (Even to dinner one night....my feet were killing from my flip flops) I will say, they started showing wear after the 3rd day (I definitely put them through their paces). I think I paid about $12 after taxes. Worth it. They lasted the week...which is all I cared about...they probably would have made it 2.

Very comfortable grips great. Walking on pool deck the very front frayed it just a bit. On sand and grassy walks. There Excellent can wear in water too. Swim in them. Too I pick the pair that match my swim wear. Many designs to choose from

I bought these for using in the house because it keeps my feet clean but like being barefoot. I bought another pair different color for outside to walk on lawn or quickly grab the mail in the non winter seasons. I bought another brand and the toe box was a little wider. I wish these were like that but they still fit. They have a rubber sole so if it isn't bad weather they are great for out in the yard.

I have not used this product yet. I brought it because I will be going to the beach in months and these will be great to wear on beach and in the shower of hotel.

I'm a avid swimmer and kayaker. It's difficult to find water shoes that stay on, have enough protection on the sole of the shoe.These are excellent! Where I live you can't walk barefooted on anything except grass, which is in short supply in the desert. These are simple to slide on easily, without binding anywhere and you can kick them off.They are also great as barefoot shoes and dance.I will be ordering more colors!
