Perfect gift for a Hot wheels mad 5 year old who's favourite colour happens to be red. The packaging synergy with the cars makes this feel a really premium gift vs other 5 packs. Well worth the price of under £3 per car.

This set is not for every collector, as it has only one great casting, the custom otto. If you are a serious collector, the the 80th anniversary with mean something to you, otherwise as a toy, these are not special and not worth the money.They are a collectors set, and only two cars are really collectable the bone shaker and otto. The other cars are more fantasy castings and more for children. This set will have a limited appeal, as it neither one thing or the other, and tends to be expensive. If you collect the Bone Shaker or Otto, then if you are serious about these two, you may stump up the money for this set. Its not value for money as a set, or as a toy, there are cheaper alternatives, but if you love a casting as much as I do the otto. maybe you will stump up the money for it.
