These brushes are so worth it. I was traveling internationally & trying to pack as little as possible. I was not expecting one to hold up for my whole 2 week trip, but it not only did but I’m still using it! It comes in a pack of 3, so I have the one in my travel bag, one in my locker at work & gave the 3rd to my daughter. Not expensive & work so well!

I purchased these to replace another brand that was of decent quality, but was "stiff" and would break in my hip pocket fairly regularly. I would get at most a few months' use out of one of those before it would inevitably break, leading me to begin to believe that they had some sort of "timer" in them so they'd break on schedule, requiring the purchase of another. At only a couple dollars per unit it wasn't horrible, but I frankly don't use my pocket combs very often (perhaps once per day or less) so I was regularly replacing an item that had seen limited use. The problem was lack of flexibility, leading to breaking when carried in a pocket.These seem to be a decent quality, and more flexible than the others I had been using, so I have confidence that these will last much longer. The teeth are not overly sharp, and seem well spaced. So far they haven't been uncomfortable to use (as a disclaimer I should say that I don't have very thick hair, or these days very much hair!) Overall I am pleased with this purchase. They are a bit thinner than the others I used to purchase, but they seem sturdy enough. I have noticed that they seem to conform just a bit to the pocket in which I carry them, so when I remove them they retain a slight curvature, but that doesn't impair use. I would purchase these again, but it may be years before I have to (presuming I still have a need for them then...)

So far, and I haven't used it much, there's been no breakage. But you do need to open carefully as I suspect that if you just try to snap it open, it will break. That said my biggest "con" is that the bristles are a bit sharp. I wish they had more of the softer ball at the end. I have short hair and won't need to use it much - I bought it for travel to help "comb" through the gel, and for that this should work well.

I have been looking for these and was happy to find it on amazon. Great product and price!

ONE COMMON ISSUE I SEE IN THE REVIEWS - PLASTIC HINGE STICKS SO MUCH - CAUSE OPENING THE BRUSH BREAKS THE PLASTIC HINGE ! WORK-AROUND ! Apply a little (I mean little ! ! ) natural oil, like OLIVE OIL to the plastic hinge, use a round small wooden tooth pick, dip it in the bottle of OLIVE OIL and apply (a little) to the hinge (on both sides), and then work the hinge back and forth (open & close) so the oil enters between the hinge gaps ! Be sure to wipe off all the excess oil, so you don't stain anything .... WORKED FOR ME ! These brushes are KEEPERS, but need a little HELP ! Hope this works for you as it did for me ! Simple but effective ! You might have to reapply a little more OLIVE OIL later to keep it working well... Cheers ! I love these for travel ! When they get stuffed with hair ... toss them and order more ! !

I have ordered similar style brushes before and they have been fine. I ordered this set thinking it'd be the same thing, but there was a huge difference in the quality. The mirror is stuck in place with adhesive, but it isn't stuck in very well. The ones I received are loose and wobble around. Not really a big deal, but worth mentioning. (On the other brand I had, the mirror was on an insert that came out so you could use them separately).The real issue is the hinge is stiff and the whole things bends when you are trying to open and close the brush. So, you have be careful opening and closing the brush otherwise it'll break. Other than that, it does it's job as a portable brush, but there are so many better options. I guess for the price, it's ok, but I regret this purchase because of the feeling it'll break at any moment.

Love it being compact and easy to throw in a bag. One has already broken, but was able to use super glue to put it back together.
