Indie Lee Calendula Eye Balm, 0.5 oz.

I have hereditary dark circles, so please don't decide on whether you should purchase this or not solely on my opinion. I've been looking for a product to at least lighten up the darkness, but it looks like nothing works whether it's $5 or $500. This product is very moisturizing and has great ingredients which I'm sure will help me in the long run. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because it's very greasy and after 8 hours of sleep, I can still feel the product under my eyes. I can't even put concealer on top of it because my concealer gets runny.

The consistency is extremely rich. It didn't cause issues with my makeup. The product is definitely all natural. I like the fact there are no chemicals. I rated 4 stars based on the smell. It isn't bad, it is just a combination of the natural products and has a scent that was oily smelling. I don't know how else to describe. If you want a natural product, it will smell like the ingredients and not artificial perfumes, of course. I just like other scents better.

I'm really sorry to leave a negative review for this product as it started out so promising. The first two weeks of use soothed my dry under eye area but within that second week my eyes started reacting negatively to the balm. It took me several days to realize that the balm was triggering the severe tearing and itching under my eyes and on my eyelids. After I stopped using the balm, it took days for the reaction to clear up. I did research on the product ingredients and discovered that some people may experience an allergic reaction to calendula which is obviously what happened to me. If you are sure you don't have a ragweed allergy (which is similar to calendula) then you most probably would be able to use this product.

This stuff is amazing!! I have some moderate allergies that cause my eyes to get dry, flaky and itchy. This is the only thing that helps moisturize without agitating the symptoms. Also, it has the additional effect of making my under eye area smooth and younger looking. Keep in mind that is somewhat oily so if you want to use it under eye makeup, only use a tiny amount and be sure to use a eye shadow primer over it like you would if you had naturally oily lids.

This stuff is the bomb. Use it at night. A little bit goes a long way. I'm 44 and look a lot younger. Really smooths my skin under my eyes and my concealer goes on flawlessly. Give it two weeks of consistent routine to start seeing a difference.I have fair, sensitive, thin skin.

I really like this eye balm. It seems to be more hydrating than the regular lotions I was using. I let it sink in then add my concealer over the top. A good purchase. I am on my second jar.

A little bit goes a long long way. This is my holy grail of under eye products and I would highly recommend it to everyone.
