50 teaspoons according to the box. (It reads that a serving size is 1/3 teaspoon and there are 150 servings, which would equate to 50 teaspoons.) Hope that helps!

Q: how much hondashi soup stock to make miso soup?

For two servings, I use 1 1/2 cup water, 1 teaspoon of Hondashi, and 1 tablespoon of miso.

Ingredients: salt, monosodium glutamate, lactose, sugar, dried bonito powder, disodium inosinate, bonito extract, yeast extract, disodium succinate. Product of Japan.

Q: How long will an open packet keep?

Mine's been open but rolled tightly shut for at least 10 years. I had some recently and it tasted fine!
