Blurry text at edges for presentations, good for price if you get new one
Good for movies but a little problematic for office use because text is blurry at the edges . Mainly left and right 15% of the screen is hard to read if the font is small. Speakers are reasonably loud for conference room for google meet call ( we connect it to a ubuntu mini pc dedicated to meetings using a 30ft hdmi cable) . Auto keystone and obstacle avoidance is a pleasnt surprise . Auto focus is decent but doesnt always work. Overall , a decent deal for my team needs. On a side note about support, got a used product first ( didn’t ask for any EULA or setup) which had heating issues with in 30 sec of starting. Conicidentally amazon covers only physical defects as grounds for return. Not a brand issue but i suspect it is just case of unethical seller shipping a returned or display piece as new item. But thanks to amazon rep who got it replaced as there some scratches on lens. Replacement which asked for EULA ran several days 6 hrs a day with no heating issues in AC. Beware if you get the one that doesn’t ask for end user license agreement consent. Most likely a refurb one

Egate Projectors are Mediocre, and they have a useless Service Support. Please avoid!
This is my second Egate Projector (I had Egate I9 Pro before this). I bought it at INR 22k after doing a lot of research and comparing many brands. My requirements are a projector that we can watch even during the day because we do not own a TV.Pros:1. Easy Setup - There is nothing to setup to be honest as this is not an Android projector. The only thing to be setup was the Keystone correction, which is pretty easy with the remote2. Excellent brightness - It has the best brightness of any projector I have used so far. So much so that we could watch it during daytime with curtains drawn, with as much light in the room that you could eat or the kids can play3. Picture Quality - It could have been better but it is OK, quite comparable to the cheaper models like i9 pro4. Digital Keystone correction - It works well, something it's predecessors missedCons:1. Bulky - It is big in size, i.e. not quite portable as it will not fit in your usual laptop bag2. Interface - It's boring, they haven't upgraded much since I bought the i9 pro in 2017. Other brand projectors such as Wanbo have a better interface which looks more professional3. Keystone Correction - The physical keystone correction has the same problems that its predecessors like i9 had, the corners get blurred if you use physical correction4. Sound - Could have been better. It's better than the cheaper eGate projectors but not enough to watch a movie in hall, it's only sufficient for a small room5. USB Play - It did not play a lot of formats, even most 1080 MP4s and gave unsupported format error, which reminded me of the irritating same problem with the i9. I expected better from L9To be honest, I expected more from a projector costing 22k. The only marginal advantage I got was the brightness so that I can watch it during daytime. The worse part is it will always need a physical input because it is not Android and doesn't support Miracast/screen-share, not even a damn bluetooth so you need another output for sound; so hanging this from the ceiling is another pain. I bought i9 for INR5500 and it gave me 1080 picture, with the drawback that it needed complete darkness for good experience, however as a projector it did what it should for that amount; though it had a shoddy build quality and its polarization filter got burnt in an area within an year, and Egate customer care did not respond in time, by then my warranty had run out. I ordered a Wanbo X1 pro (INR12k) before this and it had better interface, with Miracast and Bluetooth so using it was a charm compared to this. So, buy this only if you have a requirement of using it in daytime, if you plan on watching few movies etc in a dark room, buy a cheaper one because that will do the job.Update after 11 months of Use: It has started showing a dark spot on screen, which is visible in low light scenes. The same problem happened with their earlier projector Egate i9, but it was a much cheaper item and it happened after 2-3 years of use, and Egate was relatively a small company then, so it was somewhat acceptable. But given the giant it has become in the field of projectors, such performance is not acceptable at all.Update on Customer Support: They have a PATHETIC AFTER SALES SUPPORT, with no one even responding to complaints, even though I was coaxed into getting a Useless Extended 2 Year Warranty!!!! It's been more than a year and they have not responded to my query or suggested any resolution. Trust me you cannot do without tech support in case of a projector because you cannot get it repaired at a normal electronic repair shop, at least not an Indian projector whose parts are not easily available.Update after 15 months of Use: Because of the poor casing, as is the case with all Egate projectors, a lot of dust has accumulate on the side of the screen which is visible during light scenes, it looks really bad and there is no way to fix it as I don't have the knowhow to open and clean it, and the Useless Customer Support Of Egate doesn't respond. Please avoid this and buy a Chinese made projector in same price range, they offer much better quality for this price. Or you can try WANBO Projectors, they offer much better build and component quality, a better Android interface and Responsive Customer Support.

Excellent projector
I recently purchased this 4K projector, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. I primarily use it with an external 4K media player, and the performance has been nothing short of stunning. Here’s a breakdown of my experience:1. Picture Quality:The 4K and 1080 FHD resolution delivers crisp and vibrant visuals with exceptional detail. Even at larger screen sizes, the image remains sharp, making it perfect for movies, sports, and gaming. The colors are vivid, and the contrast ratio is impressive, ensuring deep blacks and bright whites.2. External Source Compatibility:Setting it up with my external 4K streaming device was a breeze. The projector seamlessly handled the 4K input, and there was no lag or drop in quality. It supports multiple connectivity options, including HDMI 2.0, ensuring smooth playback of UHD content.3. Brightness and Clarity:With high lumens, the projector performs well even in rooms with some ambient light. It’s ideal for both daytime use and dedicated home theater setups.4. Ease of Setup:The interface is user-friendly, and keystone correction ensures a perfectly aligned image, even if the projector isn’t placed directly in front of the screen.5. Sound Quality (Optional):While the built-in speakers are decent, I use an external sound system for a more immersive experience. The audio pass-through works flawlessly.Pros:• Stunning 4K visuals.• Seamless external source integration.• Multiple input options (HDMI, USB, etc.).• Excellent brightness and contrast.Cons:• The cooling fan is slightly audible, though not distracting during playback.• No built-in native 4K apps (not an issue if you rely on external devices).Overall, if you’re looking for a reliable projector to use with external 4K sources, this one is a fantastic choice. It delivers high-quality performance at a reasonable price and transforms your space into a cinema-like experience! Highly recommended!
