Package disappointed and missing remote but Excellent,Fun and Convenient

Great Beginner Electric Scooter
Good value for the scooter. Has definitely been worth the small investment just know what you are expecting from a $200-$300 electric scooter. Wish the range was slightly more so if you want to travel long distances on one charge definitely spend up. Build is solid and feels as though it supports me well. Pretty light and easy to fold down to carry and goes a great speed for living in a city.

Heavy duty good tires
Easily put together out of box. The lights and blinkers show up good after dusk or gray situation. Hard to see during sunlight. Goes pretty smooth in grassy area and small gravel area. Seems heavy duty. 13 yr old loves it.

Battery life stinks
Scooter is running out of charge after 4 miles or less. This has been an issue since it came out of the box. Thought it was just winter but now that it’s warmer, it’s still happening. Basically, this will leave my son stranded while his friends scooters are at 75% or more. Wrote to customer service, hopefully they help

Disappointing, Buy the EC8 instead
This is $100 more expensive (July 2025) than the Ecoroad EC8, yet it is actually noticeably less powerful than the the EC8. I was very disappointed because since it is much more expensive I assumed it would be better---It is not. In fact, the EC8 is faster, and more capable when going up hills. It is a big mystery, I recommend the EV8 as the EC8 is literally the best electric scooter I've ever had. Even though the EC9 is not worth the money, I'm not going to return it---I will donate it to charity (not worth the hassle of boxing it up and transporting it to a return center). In fact, the EC8 is so great I just ordered two more for the family.
