The Bible Game - PlayStation 2

We loved the idea that we could get a game for our kids that focused on the Bible. We thought most of it was going to be facts and maybe game show type style ways of teaching. However, that was only half true. Most of the games were centered on how fast you could do a certain challenge, not answer questions. Also, on one of the games if you choose the wrong item in a list, when it flipped around it was a "devil" looking guy with a wicked laugh. The kids didn't like that at all.We kept it for a little while but ended up throwing it away. There were some parts where they actually taught you things, but then there were the other parts that we just felt like it was a little too compromising.Hope this review helped you out!

This game is very fun to play. My daughter and I play it quite a bit. It does have more of a game show appeal to it than anything else. The trivia questions can be adjusted from easy to hard. The mini games can be adjusted too, so it is a great game for all ages. The only problem I found with it is the one mini game where you put the 10 commandments in order. They have the third commandment as the Sabbath commandment, and the last two commandments, the "thou shalt not covet commandment", split into two. In other words they employ the Catholic version of the ten commandments. That was a little dissappointing, me being a protestant. But thats only in one of the games, and it's really not a big deal. The game is a really awesome family game.

Hello I'm an autistic adult gamer...Well this is a interesting game. I like that the game talks about the bible but in the same point the game reminds me of the game show The Price Is Right. Just play the game you'll see what I mean. But over all good game. Get this game if you want to learn about the bible there's some pretty interesting stuff in this game.Happy Gaming!

Cons: Simple graphics. Gameshow mode encourages you to share your hard earned points with other players, so that you will learn to "Do Unto Others". Gameshow mode randomly brings "The Wrath of God" upon you, taking all your points to zero.Pros: Fun and addictive minigames. Awesome Christian Rock music. With cool games and trivia, we were having fun and learning about The Bible at the same time. Good for playing with friends, upto 4 players.Overall: If you play just minigames, or have a sense of humor during Gameshow, this game is Excellent to play at parties or with friends. Great game for the whole family!

My girls enjoy the game show aspect of playing.I came across this game and thought this might be cool. Turned out to be their absolute favorite. I wished the trivia included new testament but still no complaints. Anything that increases their knowledge of God, I'm all for.

The seller blew my mind and showing that they were going to deliver the best product and ship it right. The package was recieved earlier than anticipated and the CD didnt have a scratch on it. The game is (eh decent) but it's a PS2 game so graphics and gameplay were going to be different. Father loves it so I'm happy.

I bought this for my 10 year old., the games are somewhat hard and confusing. you play against the characters in the game and it shows all of them at once making it hard for you to find your player. It's a shame cause I thought she would be able to learn from it but it proves to be more confusing than anything. It would be perfect if they didn't show all the players at once.

I loved playing this game back in the days and I love it even more now playing with Family, kids of all ages. This games teaches and it's so fun!!!
