I had never seen one of these before & really wish I had one sooner...especially during vacation a few months ago. I somehow always manage to cut into my finger when working with the thinner fishing line. The ring stops that. Simply slip it over your finger and then run the line over the middle of it. The middle of the band has a rubber insert that will grip all types of fishing line, allowing you to easily grip & hold onto the line when when tying knots, cinching, and rigging. It's a must have!

Helps To Tie Knots
I never seen a tightening ring before until it was recommended on here when I was buying some other fishing gear. Since it was cheap, I went ahead and purchased the large size.Basically, this is just a plastic ring with a thin piece of rubber wrapped around it. The rings is used to help cinching, rigging and knot tying braided lines. If you've ever had to braid a line, then you would know how annoying it can be. If the line is already wet, it can take forever to tie a knot.Overall, I found the tightening ring simple to use and I can now easily tie a knot in a fishing line without worrying about cutting my fingers on the line.

Never knew anything like this existed. This is a really neat tool for tightening fishing line. This is a ring type device with a rubber insert for gripping and tightening the fishing line. For braided fishing line,fluorocarbon fishing line,monofilament fishing line. This comes in medium and large size for different finger sizes. This is also great for tying knots. Finger saver a must have!!!!
Another great addition to my tackle box. It was always difficult to get a good grip on braided line when tying a knot. The Kastking finger saver is an absolute must have. It gives you the grip you need to make a secure and tight knot when that is the difference between landing and losing that big catch.

These things are great! Since almost every reel I have (about 30) are loaded with braid, I'm constantly cutting my fingers with the line when I'm tightening knots. I'll never tie a fishing knot without these again.
