This product is well constructed of good materials. It holds the tablet firmly and at any orientation (I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A). If you keep the case on the tablet, it is too heavy and the arm will not maintain an extended position. The clamp must be mounted to a horizontal surface. There are no provisions for vertical surface mounting. I have used the holder for several months and read in bed most nights for the past four months. It has performed well and can be moved out of the way during the daytime when it is not in use.

The arm is good if anything it might need some tightening of the hex screws but otherwise no modifications needed. It works as described and the tablet stays in place to where it is set at. Good value for the money i recommend the product.

Definitely for indoors because I had a hard time finding a place e for it in my car. But once I did, I haven’t had many problems with it. The holder slide during bumpy rides and I have to turn it back towards me but it really is a good device

It was so hard to find something that was NOT a bendy "wire" with a clamp. Almost everything was, but those were weird to carry around and if the phone was heavy, hard to keep it straight. THIS however, was a HEAVEN SENT. I am an artist and I often like to time lapse my progress and post it on Instagram for my viewers to enjoy. I happen to do my work exclusively in Coffee Shops (where I can think clearly and work diligently!). I was worried about transportation with this, and about how awkward and large it look attached to a table. Luckily, both of those worries were put to rest! It folds easily, is very lightweight, and yet very sturdy and versatile at the same time. And it is thin enough that it doesn't stand out too much, and definitely does not get in the way. I am VERY PLEASED to have found this at the right time.

Wanted to use this to read without waking partner up. It’s too loud though and causes wakefulness whenever I adjust it. Also had trouble putting it into the position I wanted. It works well if you want your phone or tablet where the holder wants to put it. Several places to put the arm into the clamp, which is smart. Good idea, pretty stable, but is unusable.

Perfect to hold my device and record time lapse videos of what I am working on. Or if I need more light, I use the flashlight on my ipad to help, but the arm holds it well and I can move it easily. Its an extra hand when I need to use my ipad or phone, while doing other things. Just checked to see how well it holds to my desk, it needed to be repositioned because I didnt tighten it all the way at first and it moved a bit, but it took a quick minute to put it back where it was supposed to be, and tighten it more. I use it every day and I might buy 2 more in the future for my partner, and as a spare.

At first it worked great but after 3 months of use the ball joint that holds the phone cradle is completely loose, no matter how much I tighten up the ring it still just flops over under my phone's weight. EDIT: Turns out the ring broke over time, really it would have needed to be metal to avoid this. Buyer beware.

Gut ist, dass es verschiedene Einstecklöcher gibt, so man den Metallarm einstecken kann. So passt es für viele Szenarien.

It's rare that I'm impressed with a product but I am with this one. I had been searching high and low for something that was sturdy and stable, had a long reach and was easily adjustable. This was my third purchase after having been very disappointed with the previous two (both goosenecks - terrible design, too stiff to manoeuvre and yet too bouncy). My first impression was that this product ticked the box in terms of sturdiness and stability but not reach and adjustability. But after a couple weeks I was surprised to discover that in fact it was able to extend much further and rotate far more than I'd thought - its very sturdiness means that you just have to use a little force. I only have a few niggles with the product. One of the rubber pads on the base is a little misaligned and nothing I do to adjust it works - it doesn't at all diminish the product's useability but I wonder how long the pad will last. Secondly, the plastic T-handle used to the tighten the ball mount on the tablet clamp prevents you from fully rolling the tablet towards the side the T-handle is on. There are tablet holders out there without T-handle screws but they are of the horrible gooseneck variety. I think swing-arm holders require these screws - but they could be positioned further away from the tablet clamp. I have since found one that does - the ZenCT Long Swing Arm Tablet Holder (which also has a whopping 85 cm reach). If my Kolasels tablet holder ever breaks, I'll definitely check out the ZenCT.

Denna fungerar bra till såväl iPaden, läsplattan som mobilen. Går att skruva åt, alla leder så den blir stabil. Är som den gamla hederliga arbetslampan, men en kortare variant och avsedd för flera ändamål än en just en glödlampa. Går säkert hitta fler användningsområden, där en extra arm kommer göra nytta.

Et je ne peux que confirmer : MERCI aux concepteurs de cet objet qui me rend un grand service au quotidien. MERCI pour la conception qui, et cela devient si RARE, est très bien réfléchie, avec beaucoup d’ingéniosité pour apporter ce mix de flexibilité, rigidité / stabilité dans un produit robuste, majoritairement en parties métalliques, qui fait passer tous les produits concurrents pour des jouets. Ma seule requête, adressée au fabricant s’il lit ce commentaire : faites exactement ne même mais avec une tige plus longue => je suis prêt à vous le payer plus cher ! Je conclus par un MERCI également à Amazon pour avoir rendu possible et tellement plus facile, l’accès à de tels produits, la facilité des retours faisant partie intégrante du tout, car il m’en a fallu, des retours d’autres objets inutiles et mal conçus (souvent équipés de fausses évaluations positives), avant de trouver celui-ci. A ceux qui cherchent un produit pour tenir leur appareil près de leur lit ou leur bureau : un conseil, ne passez pas à côté de celui-ci.
