Best long reach bit holder.
Great bit holder with a positive lock so inserts or drills don't pull out. Well made may be a little pricy but offers the best functionality and durability available. would love to see a 3 piece set with 6", 9" and 12" lengths.

Absolute best but extender I’ve used to date.
I’ve been using drills and drivers professionally for over 20 years and have owned a lot of bit extenders in that time. I’m not a brand loyalist when it comes to drill accessories, but I’ve had good experiences with the Milwaukee extenders I’ve had in the past, so I decided to give this one a shot. The combination of the low profile retention ring and very solid lockup of the insert bit make this one a winner. It’s sturdily built and the release mechanism feels really solid as well. I definitely recommend spending a few more bucks to pick this one up over the cheaper options.

You get what you pay for
Outstanding. Five stars. Worth the price. This tool locks hex bits securely and releases with one hand. My primary power tool is the Dewalt DCF885 Impact Driver and I use the Milwaukee Extension Holder with all my 1/4” hex bits: - Milwaukee, Makita, Dewalt and Bosch brands - for drilling holes (drill bits) - for screws (phillips, slotted and torx bits) - for lag screws, using impact nut drivers (3/8” 7/16” 1/2” heads) This tool has held up where others have broken. Based on the 6” tool, I’ve purchased two other sizes of this tool as well, the 2 7/8” and 12” versions.

Works as expected ... if you can get it out of the packaging
This item does just what it says it does, but it is nearly impossible to remove from the plastic holder it comes in. I ended up cutting away parts of it at a time with wire cutters. For the life of me, I couldn't see how one is expected to remove the bit holder. However, the quality of the item is great and I like the knurled collar on the holder that makes it a snap to install and remove bits. One star removed for the insane packaging. I hope someone posts that there is an easy (if unobvious) method to just pop it loose.
