Great addition for security
Grabbed this after seeing my neighbor's and hearing how he was able to prove his innocence after an officer knocked on his door from a similar SUV that did a hit and run. He showed me the video quality and I was sold. Love the front and back camera for the security/parking mode. It picks up the recording when we close doors when in parking mode! Really enjoy there's no real with after you install it just works automatically and alerts you if you should check the footage. Bought for dash cam and was presently surprised by the extra features and ease of use. Collision, lane departure and car ahead at stop has moved are all cool add ons.

IT CAN HANDLE THE HEAT
I was between this camera and the Blackview dr900s-2ch. I read about overheating with that product and did not want to risk it due to 100+ degree weather in my area and my car sitting in the sun while I'm at work. This camera is perfect, has great night picture quality, withstands the heat (1 week in with 109 degree weather), and has more safety features than I can name. The hardwire kit is easy to install and the parking mode works great. I ordered a Samsung endurance memory card, but has been working fine with the evo pro. Great purchase overall.

I'm satisfied but it needs some tweaks.
This cam works pretty well and gets a lot of detail and width in the shots. I use it for driving and parking monitor. I'm very happy with it in general. The only things I would change (that I can't change) are: How long the video clips are recorded in. The voice comes on every time it starts; I'd like the option to shut that off or lower the voice. The app also kinda sucks, doesn't connect well and often takes a few attempts.

Great high quality videos, feature packed
Easy to install for the average person who knows a little about automotive wiring. Low profile design, easily connects to a smartphone to change settings and view video playback. Includes plenty of wiring for the front mount camera, highly recommend buying the rear facing camera. Has a lot of customizable features for recording quality, events, sound and GPS.

Great cameras
Hard wired the cameras to the fuse box to enable parking monitoring mode and love it. Highly recommend to hard wire; it's not as difficult as it seems at first so do not hesitate. Just buy plastic panel removal tools and watch videos on youtube

Thinkware
I Like the censers on the camera that beeps when you get to close to another vehicle. And I like the ideal that It talks when you get into your car.

App no longer works
The thinkware cloud app no longer connects to the dashcam. App hasn't worked in over a year. Do not buy this dash cam if you want to connect to it with your phone.

Great camera, bad app
The phone app is used for setting up the camera. The app isn't great and not very intuitive. The manual that comes with the camera isn't very good but the website is very helpful with an install guide. Make sure you adjust the g-force sensitivity because I was locking recordings of speed bumps and pot holes. Watching video through the app is a pain IMO so just grab the sd card and put it in a laptop. Video quality is very good.

This is a great dash cam. the size is perfect for indiscreet mounting. I have a convertible so the front camera is mounted behind the mirror so if you are not looking for it, you don't really see it. The rear camera was a challenge and i mounted it up on the overhead controls by the dome light switch. I did have to buy a shorter mini USB to connect the two units. The one that came with the unit was about 25 feet and i needed 9 inches. The software is a bit cumbersome but once you get used to it its not that bad. Not a user friendly as some other brands.

I owned a X330 Thinkware dashcam and was very happy with it. I wanted the rear camera option and decided to purchase the F800 Pro to install into my 2019 Tacoma. I was having a new stereo system installed so I had them install this camera. The camera tucks in nicely behind the rear view mirror. It announces when it turns on how many parking events occurred while I was away from the truck. While driving it announces red light camera's and speed camera's giving you the posted speed limit which is nice. It also has lane departure & collision avoidance warnings which I turn off because my vehicle already has it. The app works well on the iPhone and allows me to watch any video front or rear camera. Overall- I am very happy with this camera.

I bought this product for my Cadillac XT5 and had it installed by the dealership. Motion detector does not work. When activated, it disables my cell phone wifi. It does not activat and record events when I am away and something or someone strikes the vehicle. Other than that, recorded quality is great.

I was pleasantly surprised by the features of this camera! I previously had a blackvue 2CH camera that I installed in my crossover a number of years ago which I needed to replace due to sensor malfunctioning after years of use. Instead of buying another blackvue unit, I opted for this Thinkware F800 due to it being better rated in reviews online. I am definitely very surprised to realize it had features such as red light camera and lane departure warnings which can be activated from the app! The picture quality is excellent on both front and rear cameras. The only thing to be aware of is that this unit does not come with a cigarette lighter plug...instead it comes with a hardwire kit which you are supposed to snake to your fusebox and wire into constant and accessory fuses using add-a-circuit harnesses. Although this allows for the camera to operate when the car is off (the dashcam has a feature that monitors voltage of your car battery and auto shuts off when the voltage gets too low), to my knowledge there weren't any instructions included on how to perform the connections. For the inexperienced, you will need to seek videos online on how to do this. For my setup, I hooked the dashcam into an additional cellink battery which required an additional adapter from blackboxmycar. In summary, buying this camera was definitely a welcome upgrade from my old blackvue camera and is a recommended investment for any vehicle you wish to protect.
