Too tall!
I really wanted to love these socks. Compression is good and they have padding on the sole of the foot that is excellent. They also look GREAT! However, they were much too tall! I'm 5'8 and size 10 shoes, so I ordered the medium/large, which is what's recommended and what I get from everyone else. These went to the middle of my knee. Not comfy. They ended up bunched in my knee pit or cutting circulation below my knee. Again, really wanted to love them, but they need to be about 2 inches shorter. I can't wear them again. :(

Great for the Price
These compression socks are great for the price. They are labeled L and R on the toes for left and right, not large and regular. The size is inside the tops. They are not as cool as cotton compression socks but I had to pay $45.00 a pair for those. Additionally, they are not as warm as fine wool compression socks but I paid $65.00 a pair for those. Alvada has some padding in the foot area which is very nice. I tried one pair and then ordered three more pairs.

Great for people who work on their feet!
I work in retail and was given this as a trial pair. I have now purchased 4 more pairs just for work. I barley felt my legs and feet all day. Which usually my feet feel hot and my legs tired. So that is an awesome sign. There is a trick to putting them on. Wish there was a video. Put them on like nylons. Get the sock inverted enough to get the first have of your feet in, then reverse the socks up your leg. Not sure if that makes any sense. If you try to pull them on, you could lose a nail. So worth the extra second it takes to put them on properly. Oh and they are great for odor control!

These compression socks saved my legs. I'm a nurse. I had so much pain.
I was telling a girl at work about my leg cramps and Charlie horses I was having at night and about the swelling (edema) in my legs/ankles, when she mentioned how these socks helped her (she had basically the same problems). We work in the Operating room and are on out feet non-stop, our entire shifts. I ordered one pair since they are kind of expensive for socks. Well, they worked so well, I ordered two more pairs. I do hand wash and hang to dry, so the life of the socks will last longer. FYI, they take almost two days to drip dry. With three pair it's not a problem since I rotate them.

Absolutely love these!
Doctor said I needed compression socks. All the ones I saw in the stores were ugly. So I found these fun and bright socks. I love them, the fabric is different than my ugly ones. They fit great! And this is a great price for them. I will definitely buy more.

I really like wearing them
Bought these after hearing more about compression socks in Kelly Starret's book Ready to Run. Always saw them as a "exercise" type of thing, and not as socks for everyday use. Put them on and they felt tight, but not too much so that I would need a larger size. I really like wearing them, only downside is that I bought just one pair, so I will buy more soon!
