Very solid instrument at a reasonable price. First let me say RTFM!! I sense that a lot of the complainers didn't. Accuracy: I bought the 5% model and am very satisfied with the results it's giving. Unless you have a very stable and controlled measurement environment, the higher priced versions are unnecessary. Two minor issues: The probe appears to be very vulnerable to careless handling. Nature of the beast I suppose. Also, the meter has a fold-out stand. But since they chose to place the probe connection at the top edge, and the meter is lightweight, the stand is useless because the meter juts falls over. Bottom line, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again.

Practical, easy-to-use gauss meter with useful reach and features
The meter is responsive and easy to use, with a clear display that’s simple to read at a glance. Controls are intuitive and don’t require much reference to the manual, which makes it easy to get up and running quickly. Functionality is solid. Measurements update smoothly, and the telescopic Hall sensor is genuinely useful for reaching tight, awkward, or recessed spots where a fixed probe would struggle. The size feels right for handheld use without being bulky, and it’s easy to carry around a bench, lab, or job site. Frequency handling has been consistent in my use, and features like data logging and alarms add real value rather than feeling like extras thrown in for marketing. Build quality feels appropriate for workshop, lab, or field use, and overall it offers good value for the money given the feature set.

Really impressive price/performance
This is a very good instrument for the price point. I'm working on a passion project in spintronics. This meter is incredible for under $100.
