(VG3): Bluetooth Speaker - True Audiophile Sound Everywhere You Go (360° sound, Portable, Great for Indoor/Outdoor Use)

DON'T BUY THIS SPEAKER. ESPECIALLY NOT FROM THIS SELLER.I bought this to replace my JBL flip 4 (which is a great speaker that I used for about three years before the battery failed on me). I wanted to replace it with something that would last longer. I was tempted by the BOSE but offended by the price. So I decided on this speaker.Just about right after the 30 day return policy expired, the battery stopped holding a charge. I reached out to the seller to ask for a replacement battery (which comes separate from the unit and is plugged in by the buyer). I was told, "just keep it plugged in when you are not using it. It will not affect the battery life."Well, the problem is the battery DOES NOT HOLD A CHARGE. If I wanted something that plugged in the wall, I would not have ordered this "portable" unit.Bottom line, this is not a value for the money. Although it sounds good, the battery is useless. The seller is not helpful at all.I am actually editing this to add: It also randomly disconnects from my device, even IN THE MIDDLE OF A SONG. Sometimes, it says it's *CONNECTED* but no sound will play through it. This is the worst speaker I have ever bought and I blame myself for not carefully reading the reviews in order to chose a decent one.Soundcore Flare Wireless Speaker by Anker... try that one.

I really love this speaker. The sound quality is wonderful and I like the 360 degree sound and attractive look.Pricey but worth it and I bought one for my mom, as well.

The bass is reasonably good for a portable device as is the midrange. Treble is also decent. Where the device shines is it’s portability and ruggedness. A little bit disappointing though in sound quality but an okay outside unit as the sound is clear and volume is good and remains relatively free of distortion until it is pushed to the maximum levels. Have not tried the stereo capability of unit but I am thinking you can get better sound with speakers of more normal speaker types (though these won’t have the portability and toughness and battery driven capability.) In other words if you are getting the VG3 for portability, toughness and resistance to water - you’re getting the right system. But if you’re looking for just a bit of portability but still want audiophile-quality sound - look elsewhere.

Nice speaker. Was a late nite purchase for me which I regreted the next day, but lucky it’s been coming in handy for me and my outside setup during the lock down. I’d like to try the stereo set up but no way will I spent that cash to get another speaker. Curious though, must sound nice.

I bought this speaker with high hopes after reading many reviews. It did not disappoint. Great quality speaker for the price. Within 2 weeks of occasional use the battery showed low life after a full charge. 2 weeks after that it no longer charged at all. I reached out to the manufacturer to request a replacement under warranty and they never responded. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

We purchased a Soundcast Outcast 8 to use camping. The quality of speaker and sound was SO good we purchased a second one. These speakers go everywhere with us, camping, on the boat, ice fishing in the fish house, trail riding and family get togethers. One of the nice features is the ability to link them together and create surround sound out on the patio. The speakers easily sync to our phone and iPod to play our music. Our favorite is to connect to our camping tv while watching a NASCAR race, nothing like listening in Soundcast style! This is an all around fantastic speaker, people are always asking us about it.

I use this speaker outside and in the downstairs family room and it fills the space up beautifully. Owners manual says charge it fully and run it unplugged on battery - I do this and haven't heard any distortion. The unit supports hires files and the detail and clarity are fantastic, and there's actually a separate bass driver on bottom, instead of a "bass radiator". I've had mine over a year and the battery is still great.
