Burns, dries, and makes skin very itchy
Burned my lady parts. Made my skin itch so bad. Wish I would have read the reviews first. There should be a warning on the label about burning people's vagina. So many women have had this happen to them. It is horrible.

I previously purchased this at a health food store for months and loved it. I thought I had finally found the perfect soap. My purchase here confirms what others have said regarding a burning sensation on the sensitive parts of your skin. They must have changed the formulation. It's just not the same!

appears genuine product (not used yet) but...
Love Kirk's 100% premium coconut oil Gentle Castile Soap. The seller's product appears to be genuine but the $4.29 price is for one four ounce bar only. I thought I was purchasing a buying option for four bars that could arrive with different packaging. Sharing my user error so perhaps other shoppers will not also be confused by sellers comment that packaging may differ - The thrifty spender in me did not mind if packaging was not all matchy-matchy. Since the product is not returnable, well, this particular bar of Kirk's indeed be an indulgent experience.

Scent Free Soap for Allergic skin
I've used this soap for years. However, over time it has gotten more expensive, and so I revert to Ivory. I found the info a bit confusing when I was trying to purchase the item. I thought I was getting a 3 pack of 4 oz soaps for $4+, but that was the amount for ONE BAR of soap that I got in the mail. Then when you click on the 12 oz packet, you don't see a prize for that, and so it makes you think that the package you are getting is 3 soaps for $4. In this case, I prefer to either buy a box of MAJA soap, which has a very pleasant fragrance, and it not only contains olive oil, it comes from Spain. Either way I love Kirk's Castille soap, and I already used the bar I got for my eczematous skin.

Best Shampoo Ever
It's great soap. Try it for shampoo. No other shampoo I've ever used is as good. It has a rich lather, and I like the clean smell, without any added perfumes. I get very clean from this. My whole family likes it. My only complaint is that now in the winter months when my skin is so dry, I wish it did not dry out my hands when I was with it. For the winter I need a more emollient soap, otherwise my hands get red and cracked. None the less it's a favorite soap, especially for shampoo. It's pure soap, not soap with unnecessary additives. We have been buying it for years.

... doesn't have a purfumy smell but makes my skin nice and soft
Use this all the time doesn't have a purfumy smell but makes my skin nice and soft. My other use for this soap is for cleaning my make up brushes. I wet the brush, rub the brush on the soap rub soap all through with fingers rinse and if needed repeat. Rub on some kitchen towel put two elastic bands around a mug or glass push your brushes through the bands so the dry vertical and done ! Nice soft clean body and brushes ! 😊

A+ Quality since 1839
This is a favorite from childhood, used at grandma's home and now my own. This soap is all natural and hypoallergenic. There are no animal by-products. Just natural - original coco Castile soap; pure botanical coconut oil.The soap lathers up and smells clean, and works as intended. My grandma used to use this soap to hand-wash some of her clothing, especially my grandfathers work shirts at the neck. Yeah, this soap has been around since 1839. When something has been around that long, it must work!!Kirk's Castile Soap is found in many stores; however, you may have to look towards the bottom shelves. I found it at Walmart and my local Fry's / Kroger store. However, I like to buy bulk and save money, so I purchase frequently via Amazon. And bonus, Kirk's Castile Soap is made in the USA and is a family owned business. I highly recommend this product!!

Horrible dust
I'm truthfully not sure how to rate this soap. I bought it to make my own laundry soap. I hate to cut it up, then put it in my food processor to grind it into powder. When I took the lid off of the processor, all this dust from the soap comes billowing out, and I'm serious when I say that it choked me so badly, I had to walk out of my kitchen, coughing and gasping for air. It smelled horrible, too. I guess it cleans clothes ok, but I will never buy this stuff again. From now on, it's liquid homemade detergent.

Not the real deal.
Not as advertised and NOT all natural. Overpriced imitation. Packaging open on delivery. Can be bought for a quarter of the price too. Disappointed doesn’t come close.

Very drying soaps even on oily skin...
Very drying soap. Used it twice and my skin started to peel although it's mid-summer and I have oily skin! I used it on my hair, face and body. It's Ok for the hair and my face but it leaves my skin extremely dry! Really wanted to like it because of good reviews but just can't. Doesn't smell of coconut either.
