One bottle is never enough
I bought this initially because it sparkled ( hey im a girl) but the flavour is fantastic and I was only having a small sip at a time . Dad came for lunch one day he's in his 80's and I offered him a glass, he is a true rum connoisseur. He says its really smooth and I have a real steady hand, so now I've bought two as I goes so fast because everybody who tries it wants more. Its well worth the price and like the rest of the mythical range of drinks a delightful experience to both the eye and mouth

A warming tonic
My husband says this tastes like a warming mecidinal tonic & should be prescribed daily. A lovely warming rum with a good hearty doze of ginger & cinnamon The beautiful gold glow to every glass enhances this wonderful elixier.A fantastic find & our double doses has meant a need for our second bottle

To good to share
First time I received a bottle as a gift a few years ago, this bottle however I have treated myself to. It’s so nice. I’m sure each will determine their own flavour but for me it smooth ginger and cinnamon give this rum a lovely caramelised hint. Great all year round but extra magical at Christmas with the shimmering glint of Phoenix tears

Ok but not worth the premium price tag
Nice rum but not much better than a bog standard spiced rum like Captain Morgan’s. You’re paying for the gimmick of it being shimmery.

A cracking surprise
Bought this as a birthday present. Looks great and the recipient was very happy. She’s a bit of a rum fan and said it was one of the best she’d had.
