Prism E3 Stunt Kite

In the Kites community, Prism E3 is heaven we talked about and often reviewed by beginners, intermediate flyers, and advance competition level stunt kite pilots.I am an intermediate level stunt kite pilot, verging on advanced - beginning to compete in competitions. My kite bag contains over 22 a line stunt kites and 15 quad line stunt kites.Regardless of the wind condition (at least 3 mph winds and above), the Prism E3 is my go to kite when learning a new skill. Yes, it does turn a bit slower than the precision stunt kites like the skyburner widdowmaker, however - it has excellent precision tracking, a beautiful sale design, high durability, and excellent trick response.I do have a bit of trouble rolling it up for advanced yo-yo type maneuvers, but overall the prison be three is a great kite to learn advance tricks on. It responds well to inputs, and is very forgiving to the unskilled pilot who over steers and over inputs for their slackline tricks. This allows the pilot to gain confidence on a forgiving pipe before advancing to a high-level stunt kite.I highly endorse this kite for the beginner learning to fly (highly durable with reinforcements all over) to an advanced flyer perfecting their competition aerial routine.

September 11 2012E3 Stunt Kite. Just opened the brand new package from Amazon. The instructional DVD is missing, and the Yoyo clips are "snapped off". The tag on the kite reports it is made in China.Did AMAZON sell me a used (already returned) kite, or does Prism give Amazon defective merchandise to start with? Does the Chinese vendor just have lousy quality control? I do not know.In either case, back it will go to Amazon.I guess I will never know how it flies.

Good in low wind, tricky in 27 mph wing, overall very good. Best in winds up to 10 to 12 mph.

When there is enough wind the E3 is my favorite Kite (Have a Beetle, Swift, Snapshot 1.4, Wala, Levitation Light and a few others). It is the best at doing most stunts as compared to the other kites (I have only mastered a few of them - not enough time flying yet). It is super sturdy and flies well in 3 - 25 MPH winds. Note: It tends to be more fun in 5+ MPH winds as it can do more tricks. It was the most expensive Kite I've bought to date, but is worth it if you can afford it.Early on in Kite flying I found it helpful to find other 'die hard' flyers to fly with (e.g. my brother). We typically buy different kites so that we can fly each others on occasion and get a feel for other types of Kites. I'd put this in the same class of fun as the Hypnotist kite - fun to fly and able to do many tricks. If you can't afford it, try to find someone who has one and check it out with their expert guidance....Definitely an eye catching kite! The design makes it look like it has two big alien eyes,

This kite is great in winds over 10 MPH, anything under and I have to use my nexus stunt kite.

Delivered on time and package was in perfect condition. Quality of materials and workmanship is excellent. I have not flown this kite yet. Am currently practicing wit a Prism Jazz.

Beautiful kite with a beautiful bag. Can't wait to fly it!
