FVTLED Pack of 5, 1m 3.28ft 5Pin Extension Cable Wire with Male and Female Connectors at Both Ends for RGBW LED Deck Light

I ordered several of these for the back deck where the distance between my small LED lights was more than three feet. They work great with only one exception. The "screw-on" sleeve is too big for the hole that you drill for the light. But you CANNOT make the hole bigger or the light will drop out. After forcing several of the screw on sleeves through the hole by squishing them with pliers rendering them unusable, I finally just cut a slit down the side, removing them. Then from the underside of the deck, I plugged the cords together, and then just surrounded that union with the slit sleeve, and wrapped the union with about a five-inch length of electrical tape.

I purchased this cable to extend my Decdeal solar fountain power cable. I was very pleased the seller put the connector dimensions on the ad. However, I didn't have anything but a ruler to check my cable connectors so I erred on the measurements and this cable isn't a proper match for the Decdeal cable. The two pin center barrel sections do match up fine. However, I misread the ruler on the threaded barrel/cap as they are about 1mm different. Wasn't worth trouble returning and the electrical connection works fine. I simple electrical taped the connectors together which with less than 12volts from the solar panel this will be fine. So, cable works great, pleased the seller put dimensions in the ad so I could find a proper cable, just make sure you measure accurately.

Apparently the numerous landscape lighting companies have never heard of a standard. I am trying to replace an old nearly dead landscape lighting system with a new one. I needed lights, extension cables and "tees" to do the install. My products came from three different vendors and each vendor provided me with their product and their connector. Unfortunately the connectors were not compatible with each other. I have not found a manufacturer who makes all three necessary parts. I am currently debating whether to cut off all the connectors and solder my original connectors on in their place or just buy a flashlight.

This is honestly why I bought FVTLED's over the competing "smart" outdoor RGB LEDs. The fact that I can extend the system to wherever I want makes it a winner in my book. These cables are just like ones included on the lights, but they are longer. They enabled me to pass the wire under my front porch steps and wrap them up and around some planters.The Weatherproof fittings are pretty easy to screw into each other, some were slightly easier than others. If it wasn't screwing down to what seemed tight enough I just unscrewed it and tried again and it usually threads fine after 1 try if not immediately. Good stuff, I actually need more to get my setup perfect.

Great value for the money !These made ut extremely easy to help me extend my RGB led rock lights to the controller mounted inside the cab. The lock ring was not able to screw onto my existing rock lights as I did not pay attention to thread pitch before ordering, but nothing some heat shrink or electrical tape can't take care of.Will definitely be purchasing again for more rock light installations.Great quality cables.

Order arrived on time in good quality packaging. I was surprised at the quality of these cables. The insulation is thick, the o-ring on the female end is sized and molded well, and the molded strain reliefs on the ends are very well attached and sturdy. For low voltage LED cabling, these are very well made.

The lights went in easily and provide nice stair lighting. The hooded lights shine downward and don't blind while walking up the stairs. As others have stated, the light plug has a notch so care must be taken to insert the male plug into the female plug correctly or subsequent lights won't work. I also used a 15/16" bit instead of the recommended 1" bit.There is no timer or light sensor on the supplied transformer so i'll use another device to provide automated operation.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  These extensions are really helpful if you buy the light set. It is pretty common to need to reach farther than the core set allows. So recommend thinking through that and purchasing these along the main pack. Very easy connections.I am also attaching a video of how the set connects if that also helps.

Don’t bother, just get better quality in the first instance with sufficient cabling. Buy these at your peril.
