Nice sturdy harness - UPDATED REVIEW
UPDATE # 2 - I contacted the manufacturer with a photo of the break and their customer service is excellent. They are very sorry about what happened and are sending me a replacement. They will be working on improving the design so this doesn't happen again. Back up to 5 star!UPDATE - Less than one week after giving thi a 5 star review, I have had to downgrade it to a 3. This morning on the beach with my 6 month old German Shepherd, he was pulling hard to try and chase birds. In a split second my husband was left with a leash attached to a broken harness and no dog! One of the harness straps completely broke and my dog instantly escaped the harness like Houdini! I'm very disappointed, as I really believed this harness was sturdy, but if my German Shepherd can break it at only 6 months old, we have a problem.PREVIOUS REVIEW - LESS THAN ONE WEEK PRIOR....I originally bought the medium size when my German Shepherd puppy was 3 months old, but after less than 2 months he outgrew it and I had to buy the large size. He is now 6 ½ months old and 65 pounds and has been wearing the large size for almost 2 months and there is still room for him to grow.I love this harness. Not only does it look cute, but it is very sturdy and fits nicely. My puppy is a very strong puller, so hooking the leash to the back hook isn’t that great. Attaching the leash to the front hook does slow him down and stop him from pulling, but with him it is still a little awkward. I found a great way to use it which makes me feel more secure, more in control and less fearful of one of the hooks breaking off – that is, I loop the leash a couple of times through the back handle and then hook it to the front hook. That method is a tad clumsy and it’s not for times when you want to quickly unleash him, but it works great for longer walks and I feel more in control with him. When he outgrows this one I will buy the largest size.

Purrfect!
OK I don't get emosh often, but this harness, THIS one, is so amazing, as perfect as I could want. Has the rings top and front, a grip, plenty of padding in the right places and not too much anywhere. Elastic attach to the main straps, so nice. Reflective stitchery for evenings, and it's really stylish on Zelda our East German Long Coat Shepherd (look them up, kinda rare, but OMG wherever she goes) demands gear that matches. This does. Obviously meticulously made with quality materials, looks like it will hold up. And, we have car harnesses that might look similar but not fit as well, nor have the easy-leader front ring. We can strap her in easily with this. Donation time for the others. Enjoy...........

This thing is dang magic
I have a lab who pulls. He’s strong and meanders, following his nose and his every whim. I walk him my very polite, gentle, loose leash greyhound. Before, he would tangle himself up and twist us around. I’d had some success with a rounded prong collar but always felt inconfortable using it. This harness, however, is dang magic. I hook the leash to his chest and all of the sudden, he’s a gentleman and will heel pleasantly with my greyhound and me. It’s amazing.Note: he is about 62-65lb lab/Australian Shepherd mix. I bought both an XL and a L and the L fit him well. The straps will loosen with time or with any stress (like this afternoon when I was trying to get him away from my neighbors aggressive beagle) so it’s important to check the tension each time before you walk together. A little on the snug side is necessary, I found, to maintain good fit when hooking the leash to the front D ring. This is the anti-pulling side.Reflective stitching is a bonus!

My 6th purchase!
I have tried many dog harnesses for my dogs and have returned them all except for this one. This sturdy harness looks good on my 6-year-old boxer! I have bought three for him, last one a couple of weeks ago, and they all work great. The color fades after 2 years, in case you are wondering.Donning is easy and quick, the belly strap falls on the right spot not hurting him while he walks, and a good grip to control him when facing aggressive dogs!Best dog harness ever!

Was perfect
Someone didn't put it away when I wasn't home and my dog chewed it up but before that it was perfect. It would have been ok but he just really likes chewing up plastic so the buckles didn't survive. I plan on buying another one because it seemed really durable...just not meant to be chewed on by a big dog. He's a German shepherd mix and 70 pounds the last time he was weighed and the large fit him well.

Very happy with this harness
I've actually bought this harness twice the first one lasted 2 years before it needed replacing. My chow seems to like it too.. Its great for walking. I love the ability to hook him up in front or back and t he extra handle on the back is great. The second one actually reflects better than the first one. He's solid black so it helps us keep up with him in the dark lol.

Love this harness
I walk two medium/large size dogs (55 lbs) every day. Was struggling terribly with tangled leashes, wrapped around their legs, wrapping around their tails, etc. I ordered two of these harnesses and they arrived right on time. Took a bit of adjusting to get them fitting correctly (make sure you measure as instructed BEFORE you order - so you get the right size.) Our walk today was night and day compared to the old fashioned collar/leashes! It was so easy, they never once got tangled, they both seemed very comfortable in them and they even behaved much better. Highly recommend - they seem well made, very sturdy and a good price.

Long lasting!
I bought this harness in January 2021. Previously I would buy my harnesses from PetSmart and I found myself replacing them every 5-6 months due to them ripping and falling apart. I decided to try elsewhere and landed on this due to the features. I liked that it was reflective for our night walks, and that it has a handle on it as my dog is reactive/likes to lunge. I was weary and thought after my dog pulling with me holding the handle I would have to replace it within a couple of months but I was so pleasantly surprised. It’s been almost two years since I bought it and wow it still looks like when I bought it. I thought about it the other day and decided I just had to leave a review as I was so impressed with the quality and material and how well it stands up to my dog that loves to pull. My dog is around 50lbs but lean, I got a size L and it fits if I adjust the straps which allows for a lot of tightening/loosening. Definitely worth the money - I usually would spend $30 every 6 months. Couldn’t recommend this harness more!!

Meets my needs
Harness has all of the features that I was looking for. I can clip it in the front, on the back and it has a handle. Just removing 1 star because the handle on the back sticks up all of the time and I don't like the look (I didn't notice it in the pictures). My previous harness had a handle that lay flat on the harness and was a lot more subtle.

I like this harness it goes on smooth and helps to ...
I like this harness it goes on smooth and helps to lead my Dog without pulling. The only thing I would say is to be careful with the sizing. My wife and I have a German Shepperd which according to started pet store sizing her is a large dog. But when we bought the large dog harness it went on easy but taking it off is a different story. It often has a hard time being taken off. It at times gets stuck around his head and needs to be carefully taken off.

Love it
I have a potty mix and my dog loves it. It has held up well for now. She’s a puller and it’s much easier to walk her with this. Well padded and look very comfortable. I just think the loop to connect my leash is a little small hope it can hold. I will be trying it on my friends doing dog who is a serious puller.
