Great Product! *Updated*
We recently moved into our first home and have discovered that we are going to be having a problem with bugs! I have two cats that are curious creatures and I don't want them to ingest anything toxic so I bought this stuff along with the Wasp & Hornet Killer and I am happy that I did.The Ant & Roach Killer has a very strong cinnamon smell, something that we don't mind. Since we purchased the bottle we haven't seen any ants or roaches but I did find a roach outside in our backyard trying to make its way into our basement. We grabbed the spray and sprayed him good and it works on contact. Other reviewers aren't kidding when they say the cinnamon smell is strong, two days later, I can smell cinnamon in our basement, which makes me leery of spraying it indoors. I can only assume every window and door will need to be open in the house when we use this stuff.I would highly recommend this product if you are looking for an eco-friendly & pet safe way to get rid of bugs around the house. This product really works and it works well. The only thing to take into consideration is if you are sensitive to strong smells. While cinnamon is a great smell, this can be very overpowering. Also, on the official EcoSmart website, it lists Wal-Mart as one of their vendors and I have yet to see this product at any Wal-Mart in my area, I would recommend purchasing this at Amazon.Updated - August 5th 2011I still love this product and it's still working for me. We get some small cockroaches in our basement and haven't been able to figure out where they come in from so I started to spray this around our basement door that exits to the yard, along the base, along the door frame and at places around our foundation that look like it could be an entry point - outside the house, not inside. Using this has significantly reduced the cockroaches that enter the basement, in fact, I haven't found a dead cockroach in over a month now. I have also been using this around our front door and other bug-accessible points and I have seen fewer bugs in our home over last year and I continue to buy this and I use it as preventative bug maintenance around (the outside) of my home.Since my review was first written in March of 2010 I now seen this product at Wal-Mart & Home Depot.

Kills Safely, but Does Have A Strong Smell
I agree with all the other reviews, this product does have a very strong smell of cinnamon and peppermint. BUT, that fact alone will not deter me from purchasing the product (in fact, I'm re-ing up right now.)I have a KARAZY cat and I live in an old house in the South (i.e., fall = American cockroaches). I despise bugs with a passion and American cockroaches are the worst (aside from the German variety) and I needed a way to kill these nuisances without having to get anywhere near them and something that is safe to use around my cat. This spray works like no other and you don't have to worry about leaving a poisonous residue behind. Though the smell is strong, I'd much rather have a room smell of cinnamon than Raid and not have to worry about possibly dying from the fumes.Bottom line: If you have a minor bug issue and fear that other insect sprays are harmful to your family and pets, suck it up and get Eco Smart. It works on contact and some of my friends actually think the smell is rather pleasant.I'm just glad that someone had the gumption to make a non-toxic bug spray. THANKS ECOSMART AND THANKS AMAZON FOR SELLING IT!!!

Kills 'em dead--fast!
The problem has been those little German roaches. I keep a clean apartment, but not all other residents in the building do, and the pest control put into effect by new management has been hardly enough to tackle the problem. I tried glue traps and found they are equipped with a hormone that only attracts more--so I was killing other residents' roaches at high cost to myself! I definitely didn't want toxic sprays in my home, so I went online and found this Ecosmart stuff. Now when I see one, I just grab the spray and it's dead in less than 30 seconds. The smell of this spray is very herbal and spearminty--not unpleasant, but it is very strong. After a month of depending on Ecosmart, I notice that the smell repels them for most of the day, and now I have whole days where I don't see a single one, and the other days it's only 1 or 2. If I spray those first thing in the morning, I see none the rest of the day. Hey, I'd rather have none, EVER! But Ecosmart has helped the situation become fairly livable, at least.

Works for spiders too!
We have a gazebo that I used to call a spider condo. A month ago I sprayed under all the chairs with the Ant and Roach spray and cleaned up the gazebo for summer. Usually within a few days the spiders have all moved back in. Well, it's been about a month since I sprayed and there are still no spiders under the chairs! I am sooooo happy!

Do not buy
This product may kill bugs for a day or two but it smells horribly STRONG and the scent lasts for more than 24 hours. My whole family was sickened with headaches, nausea, and dizziness and it was sprayed outside and in a ventilated closed off foyer. I can't imagine an animal or small child not getting sick from this. I'm not a chronic reviewer and I gave this a second try tonight to kill a big grasshopper I couldn't catch on the basement stairs. It filled the entire house with this horrible smell and it's 90°F and humid and we had to open the windows.
