Magic: The Gathering Tarkir: Dragonstorm Commander Deck - Mardu Surge

Arrived earlier than anticipated, but slightly scuffed. With visible bruising and dents on the packaging of the item. Thankfully, the product inside was fine, in terms of condition and in order. No missing parts, no duplicates and with no visible damage. Additionally, the deck itself is fun and effective, with many clear upgrades you could decide to make if you wanted to. I, myself, did take the time to switch some cards out to make it more my jam. Definitely a good product from WOTC, alongside the other precons that released alongside it.

I would say thus is better than Fallout's mardu deck, Caesar's Legion.

I bought the Magic: The Gathering Tarkir: Dragonstorm Commander Deck – Mardu Surge as a gift for my nephew who has recently been getting into **Magic: The Gathering Commander, and it turned out to be a great choice. We were even able to play a few games together over webcam right out of the box. One thing I really liked was the ease of use. The deck is structured well and the strategy is easy to understand even for someone who hasn’t played a lot of Commander before. My nephew was able to pick up how the deck works pretty quickly, which made it perfect as an entry point into the format. The playability is also very good straight out of the box. We played it against other Commander decks and it held its own without needing any upgrades. The deck flows well during games and has enough synergy to make the gameplay feel exciting while still being balanced for casual play. The card quality is exactly what you’d expect from an official Magic product. The cards feel sturdy, shuffle well, and have a good finish on them. In terms of durability, they seem like they’ll hold up well for regular play, though I’d still recommend sleeves if the deck is going to see a lot of games. The art quality in this deck is fantastic. The Tarkir setting really shines through in the artwork, and the Mardu-themed cards have a lot of dynamic and detailed illustrations that make the deck visually fun to play with. The box quality is also solid for a preconstructed deck. The packaging protected the cards well and works fine for temporary storage until you move the deck into a proper deck box. The Mardu Surge Commander deck is easy to pick up, playable right away, and has strong card and art quality. If you’re looking for a Commander precon for a newer player or a casual deck to play with friends or family, this is a great option.

Best set Magic has come out with in years. This particular deck is a blast to play with and is fun straight out of the box. It's quick and fast and the strategy is pretty simple. My 9 year old son was able to pick it up and understand the nuances pretty quick.

This deck is really fun on its own but can be upgraded for even better time!
