After several years of caring for a disabled teenager with night time Incontinence issues, I have finally found a product that works! We have previously spent a fortune on sheets which claim to be fully waterproof only to find that they stop nothing more than a slight spill from getting through. Then I discovered these mats, and I have termed them ‘magic mats!’ Not only do they prevent any leaks whatsoever from getting through to the mattress below, amazingly they also appear to make any liquids vanish without trace! The top sheets are dry, and the mats themselves also remain dry - any liquid seems to be locked away somewhere so that I can finally relax in the knowledge that my son is comfortable as he sleeps. The next day I simply wash and replace his top sheet. I will of course wash the mats on a regular basis, but there is no daily urgency because they do not need it, which of course will preserve their ‘life’ too. Any parent of a disabled child will understand what a relief it is to find a product that takes away some of the strain of daily life, and these mats rank amongst one of the best things I have ever purchased.

I have son with disabilities who wets the bed on a regular basis. Changing the sheets can be a real pain because he has fitted sheets and his bed is against a wall. Got these and they have been a game changer! They are SO absorbent that there have been times I've only known he's wet the bed from his pants because the protector is stone dry. They don't even smell that bad. I can whip one off and another one on in seconds. I'm going to take them on holiday too. I don't normally write reviews but I honestly think these are a great product

They do protect the bed from overnight incontinence and they do wash easily. But not so easy to dry indoors, as might be expected with the waterproof backing. Can’t have it both ways though, wet bed or hard to dry backing! So I use a disposable mat on top so that only in ‘bad’ cases does the mat get wet, and therefore need to be washed so often. ( It obviously needs washing regularly in any case).
