Lots of colors in this kit. I used this to hem some pants. I don’t require a lot of yardage and this is perfect for this quick sewing and mending projects. Plus this kit has 36 colors so you are definitely going to find a color that matches. It’s a great value for your money because it could become expensive if you had to buy 36 regular spools. The polyester thread did not jam up in my sewing machine.

I like the colors for matching to khakis, tans, blues and greens. The threads come in a very handy compact box that stores well and saves space. Take the top off and they're all lined up vertically in a grid. Easy to see, pull out and put back. The thread is average to thin weight. It's really on par with a lot of sewing kits. I'd say it's appropriate for a lot of average to lighter fabrics. It's not a denim or canvas thread weight. I just double it over the needle if I'm hand sewing thicker fabric. There's a generous amount of thread on the rolls. I haven't found it that easy to just break. It will if you apply enough pressure. I used it to reattach the corner of a back pocket on my outdoor quick dry pants so I wouldn't lose stuff. It's held so far sitting and scooting on rocks.

Well I paid for 92 colors amongst 100 spools total, but that is not what I received. I got 4 bright optic white and 4 black as advertised, leaving what should have been 92 unique colors. What I have is an absolutely stunning variety of colors, but due to each having shrunk wrap cellophane, it took me nearly an hour of tedious work to unwrap them with dull scissors. That was really frustrating. I was amazed to see the gorgeous spools, but after lining everything up to see what I had to work with, I noticed 7 duplicates. So 14 spools of thread that had a match, leaving me with only 85 unique colors. Sounds like it's not a big deal but I'm missing most flesh tones and some yellows amongst other colors when I compare it to the advertised photo. I have dupes of warm white (above and beyond the 4 optic white), charcoal, dark sand, wheat, bubblegum, cornflower and greyed teal. I would have preferred what was advertised that I spent a large amount of money on (this is thread!). These are most definitely duplicates; as a designer I'm used to paint cards with shades up/down a tone. Part of the reason these are incredible is that you really have almost everything you need (if you receive all 92 colors) because some are very closely visual matches that are truly just a bit more/less saturated. It really is a beautiful set....... I would say 70% of spools are going to require a magnifying glass or flashlight with a needle to pull an end loose. (I am by no means impaired- the end of the spool is hidden in the majority of cases). The company shows you on their website how to do this. I appreciate that but would have preferred the end of the threads hooked into a notch.....What I received is very nice quality for hand work with what sees like great strength and low to no lint, and a spectacular array of colors. But I am really disappointed to spend money and not receive what was advertised because I don't need 7 duplicates; I wanted the 7 additional colors that were advertised.

It's great having all the different colors, the spools seem small at first but when I looked at big spools I have these had more thread on them; it's just the spool diameter size. These work well on my Bother machine and the thread seems of high quality.

Worst thread ever ! Hard to get tail end unwrapped . ,Breaks easily . The only positive thing was it has a good variety of colors. I used this to hem pants.i I would never use it to sew seams with stress on them!
