I upgraded my older modem/router combo to meet the current DOCSIS 3.1 industry standard, and the NETGEAR Nighthawk CAX30 has been an excellent replacement. Following the instructions included, the swap was straightforward and fairly easy. While the unit is a bit of an investment, the overall performance boost is undeniable. My download and upload speeds have increased significantly, and I’ve noticed a welcome drop in ping times. Web pages open instantly, and TV apps load much faster without any lag or buffering. Overall, I’m very happy with the stability and speed of this WiFi 6 setup.

The Netgear AX2700 Is a powerful all in one router/modem. It's easy to setup, and the Netgear Nighthawk app that you can use to setup the unit is straight forward. My older Netgear modem with separate router was aging and wasn't utilizing the speeds I'm paying for. The AX2700 gives me all the speed I was losing with my older modem. Its compatible with the major cable companies. I have Astound in my area and works perfectly. The 4 Ethernet ports can be all used, unlike my previous modem. Using an Ethernet cable direct to your device is the best way to get all your speed. The WIFI signal is also excellent. Highly recommend the Netgear AX2700.

Very happy with my new Netgear CAX 30 modem and Wi-Fi. It was very easy to set up and I loved their app. Their app is very good. It shows all the components on each Wi-Fi network. I set up two Wi-Fi networks one for 2.4 and another for 5G. It works great with my Chromecast as I use it to watch movies on Amazon prime Peacock and watch a lot of videos on YouTube. I have Cox as my Internet provider and it’s been working great . The speed is excellent and I’ve had to say it’s a lot better than my previous modem and Wi-Fi. The nighthawk app lets you change your WiFi name and password fast. I like that you can see all your devices and which WiFi they are using. My old modem ran hot and kept losing the WiFi connection. This one is much cooler and no lost connection. It’s worth the price.

I bought this to upgrade from my older router/modem. I have been very happy that I did. I have noticed way more coverage and much better speed than what I had before. Also, this was VERY easy to install and sync up with my Xfinity cable provider.

I am not a techy person, so I wanted something simple. I must say, I do love my Netgear CAX30 cable modem combo. It was so easy to set up, using the written instructions in the box, that even I was able to do it myself. I'm finally getting the fast internet that I've been paying Xfinity for! My wifi signal is strong and covers my entire 6,000 sq ft lot, including my ranch house with basement, front and back yards. I decided to purchase their Netgear Armor plan because they were offering a year of it for just $50. I'll decide if I want to keep it after a year. Unfortunately, this CAX30 is already a few years old, so I won't be getting updates for more than a couple more years. But I think that will be okay if I keep the Armor security plan. Meanwhile, it works great. However, I will say that their customer service is pretty bad. They do answer their phone fairly quickly, but their English is terrible. You'll spend a lot of time just trying to be understood and understanding them.
