This set is great for travel obviously, but I fell in love with this set because it does so much for the skin. It is pretty gentle and has given me such beautiful skin right out of the shower and after a few weeks. It feels like quality stuff!

I initially thought this was a facial skincare routine, like a travel-size Rodan and Fields product. It turns out that the MEDIX 5.5 Best Sellers Travel Kit is all about body care—from crepey arms to dry shins and possibly even your back. It is definitely not a facial system, and certainly not meant for anywhere near the lady parts. Absolutely not! That would be a recipe for a disaster nobody wants to experience. This set is packed with peppermint oil, and I’m glad I missed out on that whole situation.The bag is cute and zipped up nicely, containing three little bottles inside:1. Glycolic Acid Peppermint Body Wash has a clear, thick consistency that turns white when rubbed in. It gave my skin a refreshing chill and left no residue.2. Retinol Body Lotion is super lightweight, not greasy, and absorbs quickly. My skin drank it up, and it lasted all day.3. Vitamin F Body Oil is rich and hydrating, though I initially misunderstood how to open it before figuring out how the cap worked. Once I applied it, I enjoyed smooth skin that remained that way all day.There were no step-by-step guides or suggested order of use, just a card listing the ingredients as if I were expected to already know how to use them. I liked the products enough to check out their website and explore other offerings.I wish Medix would provide guidance on how to use this trio instead of leaving me to guess the application order. I rate it highly for quality and results, but I have to deduct a few points for the lack of guidance and slightly misleading expectations (this is not a facial skincare system). It’s a classy introduction to the Medix line, and I definitely need more information.

I know to be careful with retinol but still decided to try out this set on a recent trip. While it's my own fault for being silly enough to use a new product on vacation, the lotion ended up making my skin way too sensitive, and I got a rash. The serum is thick and felt a little sticky; it's fine, but I wasn't a big fan. The body wash was thin but pleasant. But overall, I wouldn't pay $25 for this set, and I ended up getting rid of the products.

Love love love this product! I struggle with pimples and aging spots on my skin. I’ve been using this a month and my skin has done a 180! It’s perfect!

This was my first time trying these products. I know they are meant for travel or on the go, but it’s nice that they come in this small of a size so you can try them before deciding on getting the bigger bottles. They all come inside a waterproof (except for the zipper) travel bag, with instruction and ingredient card in the back.GLYCOLIC + LACTIC ACID:I can’t believe how amazing this one smells! It has peppermint oil in it, but it’s a really nice kind of peppermint that doesn’t sting my nose. I used it in the shower and it had a refreshing, relaxing aromatherapy effect. It lathers up well. In a very short time, it helped decrease the bumps on the backs of my arm. The only negative to this one is that there is a sunburn warning. You can burn more easily when using it, and I burn quite easily already. I’m using this only on parts of my body that aren’t exposed to the sun.RETINOL BODY LOTION:This one has a very subtle scent. It’s hard to describe, but it smells nice. It’s white in color. This lotion seems to sink in and add moisture to the skin right away. It feels soothing on my skin. The flip top on this one and the other one were a little hard to open. It looks like the larger bottles come in pump form. I’d prefer to have the pump with these, but to save some room for travel, these are ok.VITAMIN F BODY OIL:This one has a pump top on the bottle, with a pretty large cap. The oil is clear and has a little bit of viscosity. It feels slick and spreads nicely on my skin. I only needed a small amount to cover a large area. It doesn't feel sticky. It takes a small amount of time to sink in. I used this before bed on my hands, arms, and neck, and in the morning I couldn’t believe how smooth and healthy my skin looked. It definitely helped to create a barrier and keep moisture in. I love this stuff!This skin care set is impressive! My skin seemed to be screaming for more after I tried these. I had no irritation at all. Usually I don’t notice much of a difference with most products I’ve tried recently, but these made a big impact with me. They all are really good products.
