Johannes Brahms (Getting to Know the World's Greatest Composers: Previous Editions) Paperback – March 1, 2001

I am slowly collecting the whole series of these to read to my kids during breakfast instead of letting them watch a TV show. My 5-year old especially loves them. I will usually play some of the pieces mentioned throughout the week. Last night, my daughter was running around trying to find this book because she heard Brahms' Lullaby on her baby sister's toy and she wanted to show her dad that she had learned about the composer. They are written on a good level to appeal to a wide range of early to later elementary kids.

Simple and basic intro to this composer for younger children. I don’t love the illustrations, but overall it’s fine for the price.

This book is nice. It doesn't go into a lot of detail, enough for early elementary age group. For older kids might want to add some other info.

Great concept and the way to attract kids and involve them into studying process of classical literature... Very happy!
