Everything works as it should.. Only advise I can add is to be sure your vehicle supports 80A home charging. My Tesla on supports 48A home charging so I'm not able to use the full 80Amps.

Only wish was that the J1772 version was priced the same as the NACS version. Got the NACS version for my J1772 vehicles and permanently use a $30 adapter to save $200 on the price difference. I didn't have any problem with the software like some have. Only advice is to follow the instructions carefully on the software install because it can be tricky as it is similar to installing a home internet router, as you need to initially set it up through the chargers' IP address. After doing lots of study and homework, I decided to save lots of $$ and install myself. Ran 50' from my electrical box using 3 AWG wire, 1" flexible conduit, and the 100 amp breaker. My only challenge was the 3 AWG ground wire would not fit into my ground bus in my electrical panel which I was able to overcome. Charges fast. Achieved average 78.52 amps and 18.66kw power on first use. Doubled the charging speed from my previous 40 amp charger. This 80 amp charger is at the max speed for the J1772 standard so it is future proof. Just know that you need to have an EV that supports 19.2 Kw onboard charging to get the speed this charger is capable of.

This is a fantastic EV charger! It was easy to install, came with everything except the right size heat shrink tubing, and very customizable. I installed it 3 months ago and it not only works as advertised but has had several beneficial firmware updates! The dip switch current control is great for installing on smaller circuits making this charger super versatile and the app current control is great for making sure you balance your whole panel current draw (if you need to). I have a 100amp service line to my garage and most of the time this charger is all that's on it so it can charge at full rate but sometimes I have a large electric heater I need to run so I can dial back the charging rate in the app super easy! (worst case scenario is I pop the breaker). This came recommended to me and hasn't let me down!

Update: 1-6-2025 So STILL no call from support. I fully understand this charger won't charge at 80 amps on my 2024 lighting, thats a truck issue, but my charger still won't connect to the internet and despite emails asking for support I've got NOTHING from them. I even asked to speak to someone in legal, nothing. I guess I'll just file a small claims action and let them ignore that and get a judgement, I'll use that to get a different charger. So, I purchased this unit after looking online at options in the 100A range. To be clear not a lot of options!!!! So two things stand out now that I've spent $6,000.00 to ad 2-gauge wire across my property for the 100-amp service. 1) First thing that stands out is that I can't connect it to the internet. Thats HUGE deal because without a connection to the internet makes it a DUMB charger in that you can't control when it charges. Thats a BIG deal as it means you have to get up and plug it in and unplug it to get the right rates. The company position is (My internet is "to complicated" I run an eero network from amazon, normal stuff for sure 2) Second even thou it works it only charges at 46 amps not the 80 advertised. They are telling me it's an issue with my truck a 2024 F150 lightning, even though I can charge at north of 100 amps on other chargers. So, the tech basically told me to pound sand and hung up on me after an hour if tech support. We are going scorched earth now. I paid for something that does not do as advertised and spend a ton bringing 100A service to that garage. ZERO STARS and I'm going after them in small claims next.

As compared to most chargers that are plastic, this one is a metal box that is well built and built to last. The mounting bracket supplied makes installation easy. The app works well and setup took little effort. The mount for the charging cable is a nice addition and it is easy to mount where you need it. two things to be aware of - 1. the supplied wrench did not fit the screws to take the cover off or mount the bracket. I have lots of tools and this was not an issue for me 2. the supplied heat shrink is too small to fit over the 3 gauge wire and wire mount.

Got this installed for my 2024 Sierra Denali EV this week. It has worked great charging at 64 amps as the engineer said I did not have the capacity for 80 amps. At 64 amps it is charging at 29-30 miles per hour which I am happy with as compared to 20 with my previous charger. Great price on this 80 amp charger. GrizzlE connect app is great for scheduling and monitoring charges.

I upgraded to this higher amp charger because we have two EVs and it speeds charging significantly. I run ours at 60A because the main panel can’t really handle any more. It’s been reliable and consistent, no issues. Installation was not hard, the mounting hardware provided is straightforward and clear. Bluetooth app is mostly intuitive and reliable. The charging plug is sturdy and high quality with a metal release button. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the extremely stiff cable. Most EV chargers have a soft rubber cord that coils easily and lays flat when unrolled. This Grizzl-e cord is hard to coil and stow, especially in cold weather.

I ran 100 amp service to it with 2 awg Au wire. I wasn’t sure if I would need to use a junction/ shutoff switch to drop down to 3 or 4 awg copper as it’s advertised for that gauge copper. I was pleasantly surprised when the 2 awg fit in the terminals inside the charger housing. It’s a little tight in the current monitoring ring but it all fits. Very nice charger that delivers as described, I use it to charge a 205kw GM ultium battery. It gives me 30 miles per hour of charge while pulling 79 amps. The app takes a little patient to set up, I had to reread the directions a few times. When inputting your kw per hour rate you have to have a 0 in front of the decimal. Ie 0.0895

El Productos se ve de muy buena calidad, no lo pude instalar ya que no es compatible con mi auto todo se ve bien, el problema es el personal que se dedica a cambiar las cosas hace mal, su trabajo es un pésimo servicio, tendrá que esperar días para un producto que necesitas y te mandan el equivocado tener que hacer una devolución por tu cuenta y volver a hacer la compra y esperar de nuevo más tiempo y rezando que no te manden lo mismo

DO NOT BUY IT. Worst customer service i installed my charger in January 2025 and it stopped working on July 1st. The company didn’t mention anything about a letter from the certified electrician that power supply is stable (they just mentioned on their website that check the power supply and wirring if everything is ok then there is a fault in charger and you can email for a replacement- they just mentioned about the invoice and photo of the charger sticker as the requirements for Replacement ). The power is stable but electrical is asking 300$ for the visit because its not his fault he checked all power supply infront of me. Now he has to visit again to take pictures and to provide the letter.
