i-Blason Case Designed for Samsung Galaxy Note 4, [Scratch Resistant] Halo Series Hybrid Clear Case / Cover with TPU Bumper for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 [SM-N910S / SM-N910C] (Clear)

I can't be any more pleased with the low-profile phone case. I purchased the i-Blason clear case because I was not a fan of the colors they had to offer. I am pretty sure though that all of the color options provide the "scratch resistant" material.The case backing seems like a hard plastic type of material while the curved edges and the edges themselves must be the TPU because it has that more rubbery/soft feeling. I have taken this case on/off multiple times since receiving it late December, 2014. The aluminum edges on my VZW Note 4 have not been scratched nor has the shiny lining that surrounds the phone.Of course as you thin out your case, your protection level doesn't increase as compared to dual layered cases that provide a silicon/plastic protection. I rarely drop my phone as I take very good care of my electronics, so making sure that the phone case that I used was very slim was a top priority; this case does not add any bulk to the phone at all.If some of you were wondering, the edges are raised on the top and bottom of the phone. The bottom of the phone probably has ~<1 mm raised feet on all four corners of the phone; at the same time, the increase in thickness by the phone looks just about parallel with the camera on the phone. Either way, the camera screen should not be getting scratched. On the top of the phone+case, there is about a 1.5 mm lip that helps protect the screen from coming in contact with the surface that you lay your phone upon if going screen down.Furthermore, if you're using a VZW Note 4, the microphone holes on the bottom of the phone line up. Due to i-Blason's design of having an opening that is a couple millimeters wide, they solve any issues with microphone holes not matching up across the different carrier devices. One con that I do have with the phone is the charging port. Even though the OEM USB cable that comes with the note 4 can fit the port, some aftermarket USB cables may not. I purchased 6 ft. 2 A rated USB cables (MediaBridge) here on Amazon to use on the Note 4, but the mini USB casing on the aftermarket cable cannot fit the charging port. There is just about 2 mm from the top of the charging port on the phone to the top of the case's charging port. The aftermarket USB cables that I use must be too big by 0.5 mm; therefore, I always have to take the case off to charge if using the MediaBridge cable, hence why at the beginning of the review, I stated that I have taken the case on/off multiple times.Overall, I am very pleased with the price, description, and my intended use for the case. I would recommend this phone to anyone looking for a low-profile case that offers good protection but not the BEST as there are definitely better options for that category. The case hugs the phone very nicely and is not too tight that it takes a while to take off or too loose that you see bumps or raises around the phone as you typically see with silicon casings as they tend to stretch.Hope you guys like my review, and feel free to leave any comments or questions if you have any!

Excellent Case for Shock Proof protection. Clarity of the back enhances the true look of the phone. The outer bumper guards are tough and absorbs the shock. Added feature to toughen the case for crush proof quality would be to inner strong metal, uncrushable frame imbedded on all four sides, so it can truly boast as being crushed-proof. I just wish the designed was continued in adding a clear cover that would snap over the front of the phone, just as clear and visible as the back, for better scratch avoidance feature , like a clear flap that the user can lift up when dialing or texting on the phone. Those are just my ideas, and I am thinking of tougher design for mothers who have kids that are constantly asking to borrow my cell phone in order to enjoy video games or movies when I am driving, and it is not in use I bought this as a back up case for less rugged environments, until the main case arrives.Instead I am waiting on my upgrade :Note 4 Waterproof Case, Ghostek Atomic Pink Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Waterproof Case W/ Attached Screen Protector - Lifetime Warranty - Sold by: TalkinTree ,....this next case seems to take it to a whole new level of complete protection.......hopefully, none of my kids ever accidentally drop this new phone in a pool or a toilet by accident, but I await on this upgraded next new case in the mail.....buying it was like insurance for the new cell phone. Enjoy!I just wish there were slots or connectors on 2 corners for the option of adding a strap or narrow metal purse chain to better secure and offer additional option to hold the cell phone.around my shoulders or neck, when I am out of hands and multi-tasking during a phone call which is much needed for moms of small kids, like me and still manage to have very long French tip nails to grasp this case with a grip. I wish they would design a case in mind for women with long nails and are grip-challenged and have tendency to lack grip and the cell phone slides right out of our grip, I am not referring to this item. but just in general maybethe sides can be a deeper tread design like a vibram, silicone, surface used for Timberland brand leather loafers,.....and they should add a durable, clear strap( on back of the case( not interfering with camera and speaker-microphone holes,...so the same durable clear strap on its back from one side across to the others side would solve for a better grip, avoiding the sliding accident for the cell phone , For me that could happen in front of a soup, or flowing waters of faucet sink, in the car trying to secure my grip when just lounging around a pool and I accidentally lose my grip and it slips into the pool, etc, etc....

Very thin and light weight.Feels good in hand. I like how you can see through the back. Snug fit.Happy with the purchase, would buy same brand for next phone.

To be honest I bought this to factor on how big the Note 4 would be to hold and use on a daily basis - being an S3 user and wanting something I could actually read and use without looking like I was blind! A month on I finally bought a Note 4 and this case fits perfectly. It does look a little bit 'boxy' but affords the device a lot of protection from knocks. The jeans pocket test was good and it didn't snag or cause any problems. Highly recommended for anyone wanting decent protection for your device, All holes are in the right place too :)

Best case for the Note 4. A professional finish and look to match a suitably series handset. Adds very little to the overall size. After a number of months of use back still remains scratch free.

Fits brilliantly! Solid feel to all the external buttons, s pen easy to access and it shows off that lovely looking back door of the Note. The black rims add a small lift off of surfaces if layed screen down but also adds a nice overall look to the front. The Note 4 unfortunately isn't a solid feeling device and I still wouldn't fancy its chances after dropping it from even hip height, but this case feels tough and slightly 'gel' like so may add a little bounce if dropped.There's also no metal here so it won't have any effect on your GPS direction flipping 180 degrees and sending you walking the wrong way to miss an important train!
