Great Bluetooth range!
There weren’t many reviews available for this product, so I thought I would contribute my own. For the last six years I’ve been enjoying the older model of this amplifier until all of the wires were chewed up by rodents this winter. I decided to upgrade to this unit mainly for the built-in Bluetooth functionality and its ability to connect my existing auxiliary inputs which is how I have my indoor surround sound system connected to my outside deck speaker system. I’ve been enjoying this unit for roughly a month. It’s a quick list of pros and cons.Pros:- phenomenal Bluetooth range. I can connect up my phone and walk around our entire yard both front and back and still have connectivity to this unit.- sufficient volume connected with my existing outdoor speakers and average sound quality with the pair- I really liked the combination of inputs; Bluetooth, Apple airplay, and auxiliary- so far, the unit is handling the elements just fineCons:- connecting the unit to my Wi-Fi took a number of attempts, as the automatic process wasn’t working- when I enable Wi-Fi on the amplifier, it appears as though I get interference with my actual Wi-Fi router, such that my cell phone gets disconnected from my Wi-Fi router. I’m not really sure what’s going on there- The app you can download from the company is pretty much worthless in my opinion- I really wish the airplay functionality was AirPlay 2.0 so I could wirelessly connect this device and my other Apple products such as my Apple TVs- to turn the volume up, it seems to take multiple spins of the dial, almost excessively self. I’m not sure why they didn’t just make the dial increase the volume at a more rapid rate- I felt the price of this unit was a little high, for what the product can actually do So all in all, I am very happy with the unit so far. Time will tell if it lasts as long as my previous unit, fingers crossed the rabbits and squirrels leave all my wires alone this time!

APP is difficult/connection is spotty
The product works, but has a spotty connection via Airplay/wifi. Also, you can't connect to other devices via Airplay if you are connected to the TIC. The sound quality if good and materials are good quality (metal case, rubber seals, etc.).

Not user friendly and underpowered.
This was for an outside TV that has rear firing speakers and needs boosted front speakers. It replaced a similar power amp that failed after several years outside. The TIC did not provide much sound at all. Additionally during set up I ran into a programming issue, the only support offered was the same video offered on the sales site. I was frustrated that the app did not work properly on any of the (Apple) phones in the house even after deleting and re-downloading. Perhaps it works on an android.

Great stable amp with some quirks, while it worked.
Original: Amp is super stable, power is secure. My only qualm is that the knob needs to physically be turned up if the amp loses power—turning the volume up from the app doesn’t seem to do it.After 1 Year: So, I had gotten used to the routine of having to physically turn the knob back up if the power went out--fortunately I don't have a more commercial application. I suspect that would be very irritating.I had a solid experience with having the power supply replaced because it stopped working, which was good. Unfortunately, after a year of use, I put it out in October for my Halloween display, and the enclosure took on water while covered by a small outdoor rack / concealer. A lot of water. There was a pretty heavy rain, and the sealing wasn't resistant enough to blowing rain to stop it.I had to open the case and drain out the water as--it was as if it had been drowned. The seal didn't keep the water out, but did keep it in.TIC sent me a label for the RMA, then wanted to charge me for shipping and repair after evaluating it was past the 1 year warranty. The cost was reduced to $50 when I told them to keep the amp, but I felt it was not wise to pay to repair the amp if it wasn't going to be reliable.Overall impressions of the device:Sound quality is good, not great. Sounds like a Walmart amplifier.Weather sealing is okay. You may want to ensure it's double sealed.Automation is pretty poor. Volume is all the way down when the device loses power and restores. There appears to be no programmatic way to fix this, and there are no firmware updates to correct it.Wireless is pretty solid. Reaches quite a ways to the front and outside the house reliably. Would be nice if it supported 5gHz.Final thoughts. I've decided I'm going to use one of my indoor amplifiers next year with longer 12 gauge copper wire. It would be more cost effective to run longer cable than to have a specialized amplifier, and the sound quality and automation support are far better.
