Left Alive - PlayStation 4

Left alive was amazing frustrating cool love that it took inspiration to metal gear series but my it takes so long for the enemies to die but I love it and will keep it so it wont go to lost media lol *silenty cheering*

Graphics and game play, controls. All very nice.Love the story. I dont think its the type of game everyone will enjoy, like others have said this game will attract metal gear solid fans. But i think if you enjoy a good story line driven game that is stealth based you will like this.If you dont enjoy stealth at all then dont even try this game you wont be happy.

Let me start by stating that I originally passed on this game due to the negative reviews describing a veritable slog through most missions. Also never been much of a trophy collector so, after they announced casual mode, I decided to give it a go and honestly, I'm glad I did. (Note - Casual does not necessarily mean easy mode, it just changes playstyle and makes it more of a third person shooter with some stealth elements and less a full stealth experience.)Controls are a little clunky but after a bit of play, you get used to them and it becomes easier to move around the environment. It does take some getting used to if your more used to playing first or third person shooters since your item use button is mapped to L1.Gameplay wise, the game is fairly forgiving on casual mode. Headshots will typically take an enemy down in one hit and ammo is fairly plentaful. On higher difficulties, it will really test your patience.Graphic wise, this is where the game faulters a little. It's by no means bad but can look like an early gen ps3 game at times.Story is honestly the best thing going for it. It can be pretty cliche at times but gets fairly interesting as you go.Overall though, casual mode definitely fixes quite a few issues that might make fans of this type of game steer clear. Not recommended at full price, but if you can get it for 10 to 20 bucks, it'll give you quite a bit of enjoyment. If you have experience with a third person shooter type game, you'll feel right at home.

I've been wanting to play left alive for a while now and have been following it on social media through it's development now left alive has finally released and it was definitely worth the wait the graphics Storyline and artwork are all great and so is the gameplay I'll state this right off the bat left alive is NOT call of duty you must use stealth and tactics to survive if you go in guns blazing you'll get slaughtered very quickly To win you must rely on stealth and plan out every move you makeI love the storyline and the characters And I love that you can make choices that influence the story you can also pilot mechs in this game The mech parts of the game are cool but most of the gameplay is on footas an avid front mission fan I love that left alive takes place in the front mission universe Even though it's not a new classic turn based front mission which I've been waiting for years left alive is an amazing game in it's own right I'm shocked about all the negative reviews left alive is getting because this is really a great game please don't listen to the bad reviews because their dead wrong left alive is a great game and definitely worth the purchase Left alive and resident evil 2 Remake are definitely going to be my favorite releases of the yearOverall left alive is a great game with great graphics storyline and gameplay If your sick of the standard going in guns blazing gaming standard I highly recommend left aliveHighly recommended

Grim curiosity prompted me to buy this game KNOWING it was bad because I just wanted to see for myself and after getting through the first and second chapters it really is as AWFUL as everybody says, if not even worse. Honestly this game is so bad it doesn't even deserve to have its gameplay reviewed but if you really have to know here it is:- Enemies are MASSIVE bullet sponges- Feel of movement is VERY janky- Stealth is basically non-functional, works maybe 40% of the time when it shouldn't- story could be interesting (playing as a war refugee) but the game is so offputtingly bad I couldn't be bothered to care- Set in the front mission universe if youre interested in that- game forces you into ambushes and fights despite actual combat being the most awful thing I have ever seen in a game in all my life.- Sneak attacks can miss, because the game is horrifically jank, and if they do all the enemies will be alerted and youre basically dead.TLDR - Game is absolutely awful with no charm to even serve as a sliver of a silver lining. I actually just recently threw the thing into the trash because it was basically worthless and it was taking up space. Honestly wouldnt even buy it now in retrospect to satisfy any amount of morbid curiosity. Worst game ive actually played in my entire life, literal trash. Who knew why the devs even bothered making this? Probably because they were being paid to.

I have only been tossing molotove cocktails at the enemy soldiers on the first level so far. But I am really enjoying the sneaking!

My husband loves it and it is very challenging for him. Great game. Great quality.
