The instructions are confusing. The buttons do whatever. I had a completely dead battery and left this charger on it like 3days. Brought it back to life and the battery has been good for 8 months. Battery chargers is good. Instructions are not.

Works Perfectly For My Needs - Five Stars!
I ordered this battery charger to use in my home shop. The first one I received was dead on arrival. Thankfully, I was able to exchange the faulty unit and received a replacement that has worked great. I've used this charger on my John Deere 4020 as well as lawn mower batteries with great success. I LOVE the recondition feature and have experienced success in revitalizing old/worn batteries. Works perfectly for my needs - five stars!

Works for well maintained batteries, not heavy duty
Worked great so far. it will not charge a dead battery. There has to be a certain percentage of charge before this charger will read it and start the charging cycle, otherwise- if a battery is completely dead then this charger is useless. +/~ Cables are very thin like speaker wire.
