Finding the correct optic mounting screws for any given application can be a challenge. This compounds itself if you swap optics between various manufacturers makes and models. This kit, so far, has covered everything I need for mountings on Sig, Glock, CZ, HK and various custom slide manufactures. Pays for itself in time saved hunting around. A+

I received a SIG Romeo that didn’t come with the screws, and didn’t feel like paying 10$ for 2 screws, so sprung for this kit instead. Comes with a ton of different screw sizes that will fit most red dot sights, but you may want to look up the manufacturer specs of what size and thread you need for your particular optic. All screws are neatly labeled in their own pouches, and of good quality. The ones I needed were an exact match for my optic and they are holding strong. Also a plus that they come with pre applied thread locker. They also include an extra screw of each type in case you end up losing once which is nice!

Pluses : price and completeness. Minuses: Screws themselves are the same screws provided with Holosun optics. They almost look like they are metal injection molded instead of cut from rod stock. Would absolutely trust on regular mounting, but might look at sideways if it’s on a pistol slide. If the slide had great recoil abatement, and the fit fit tightly, I’d probably still rock it on a pistol slide. If it’s just the screws securing it that would be a no.

This kit includes so many different sizes that there's a good chance you'll have whatever one you need as often times the optic you buy won't always have the correct size for your pistol. Also helped a friend whose new optic didn't have any screws for his particular pistol and I had extras that fit his perfectly. Rather have extra sizes handy than having to hunt around for the right size/thread as many manufacturers don't tell you what you will need.
