Momcozy Hands Free Breast Pump

I’m three weeks postpartum and have been using a manual pump for the past two weeks. I didn’t want to spend the money on in bra pumps because I wasn’t convinced I’d use them enough or that they’d actually make life easier, but I was so wrong. I’m still building confidence with breastfeeding in public, and on the occasions when I’ve bottle fed pre expressed milk instead, I’ve ended up with mastitis after leaving it too long without expressing milk for a few days while out and about (mastitis is not fun, I don’t recommend it). Anyone who’s used a manual pump knows it’s even more awkward to use in public than breastfeeding, so that was never really an option. These pumps have honestly changed my life. I can now express from both breasts at the same time, which saves so much time, and I’m getting the same amount, if not more, milk than I did with my hand pump. I can sit back comfortably on the sofa, lie up in bed, or walk around the house completely hands free. I’ve even worn them in a restaurant under my shirt and no one noticed. You can hear a bit of sound when you’re at home in silence, but if you’re somewhere with background noise, like a restaurant or on a train, it’s barely noticeable. The app is great too, I love tracking things so the milk log feature is brilliant. I originally considered getting the Elvie, but at double the price I wasn’t sure it was worth it. After lots of research, the only advantages Elvie seemed to have were slightly quieter operation (though these are quiet enough to use discreetly in public), comfort (these are already far more comfortable than a manual pump and you can adjust the suction to whatever level feels right), and automatic milk measuring and shut off. However, I actually see that last one as a downside, as I read that when you walk around, the milk sloshing in the collector can trigger false signals that it’s full when it isn’t. With this pump, you quickly get a sense of how much you produce in a set amount of time and can easily keep an eye on it. So if you’re thinking about buying the Elvie, I’d say save your money and get these instead.

Only lasted 2 months and was used once per day. I would look for a more reliable brand. Despite being charged, one of the pumps stopped working and there is limited support available to troubleshoot / fix so I have had to buy an alternative brand.

I was so nervous to spend money on a pump but this is a really great set. Comfortable and easy to use, its not super quiet but fine for using around the house. Love the range of settings and how easy it is to control.

Great pump. Tried a cheaper brand first, which was ok but this is far superior. The whole thing is excellent quality. The silicon inserts are soft and much nicer than others I've tried. The app is so handy for setting programs, strength of vacuum a d recording times and quantities expressed. I've used the pump walking and driving. I've knocked off one star because it can leak if you bend over for example taking washing out washing machine, unstacking dishwasher etc. Overall I highly recommend even at the high price point.

The storage bag is well-designed and fits everything neatly for travel. The drop-shaped design really does make a difference in discretion. She can pump while running errands under a loose top and it's barely noticeable. If you're buying for a mum who needs to pump regularly while managing other responsibilities, this system is absolutely worth the investment! It's given my wife back hours of her life and reduced so much pumping-related stress. 🙌

Total garbage. The first pump broke after 2 weeks. Momcozy customer support did send a replacement, but this was broken out of the box. Then the third pump broke a day later. All 3 had the same failure of a flashing screen and a failure to charge. Not worth your time or money. Avoid at all costs!

The pump itself is excellent and exactly what I wanted. However the Flanges break constantly. 5 have broken in just over a month of use. This seems a significant design flaw for a part that is under constant stress and leaves you without a functioning pump until a new part is delivered.
