Q: because the fabric is black does it ever leave a mark on baseboard?

It does not leave marks on the baseboards- works great and it doesn't scratch the furniture / cabinets

Q: I know it says for 10" - 12" width, but my floor brush is 14" front width but only 2 1/4" deep. Will this fit? Thank you.
