Useful tool.
Helped me find a bad regulator. Matches another one so 2/3. The 1/3 is the bad regulator so good item to have.

Anyone with a MIG welder needs one of these!!
I used this flow gauge to find a problem with my new MIG torch. I found the torch liner was pushed in too far and was restricting the gas flow. The gauge at the gas bottle said everything was OK when it was actually reading high. It’s the flow AT THE TORCH that matters!! This is such a simple and inexpensive tool that every welder should have one.

handy sanity check
Great tool to double check your flowrate at the point of use.

Worked well. No idea how accurate the scale actually is, but the repeatability was excellent.
Great simple affordable tool for troubleshooting gas flow issues. One of our welding machines was having intermittent issues and generally poor gas coverage. Tried multiple regulators using this on the nozzle of the gun and was able to determine all the regulators showed the same gas flow issues. Now I need to swap whips and see if it's the gun and lead or inside the machine. And this will be really helpful there too.

Measures in LPM - Would be nice if it also had a scale for CFH
Using this for Argon which all of the standard flow meters used in the US measure the gas in CFH. But the only tool to verify what's coming out of the nozzle measures in LPM. Yeah, this one. Seriously. Why not put an imperial scale on the other side of the glass for CFH - like my tape measure, yard stick, machinist's rule, kitchen measuring cups, car speedometers, tire gauges, etc. Other than that, it seems to work 'okay'. It's difficult to read because the glass is clear and the scale is printed in black, making it difficult to see the numbers. Can I trust the reading in LPM? How do I verify that's correct?!
