OK TAPE Kinesiology Tape 10 inches Precut, 20 Strips, Cotton Elastic Athletic Tape Latex Free, 2in x 16ft, Yellow

I was a bit skeptical about this but I thought I’d give it a try. When it arrived, I was excited to try it out. I have some pain in my hands so after I read the instructions; I measured the area around my left thumb, layout the tape, cut the length I needed and placed it around the area. Omg to my surprise, the pain went away. The adhesive is durable, I washed my hands a couple of times and it stayed on. Great product.

I originally bought a different brand because I was becoming desperate from the pain and numbness in my hands. I couldn’t work or do my chores around the house. I couldn’t even relax. I used a YouTube video as a guide, and I was totally shocked by the instant relief. And my hands and forearms had felt so weak/fragile, but the tape made them feel so perfectly supported. It’s changed my life. I tried braces, but they never felt as supportive. They felt more restrictive, but my hands and arms still felt weak/fragile, for lack of a better word. I bought this brand because it was good price and I wanted black, and this brand is WAY better than the first brand I bought. This one actually stays on through showering, hand washing, and general chores. The other brand I bought always came off 70% during a shower. I’m ordering two more rolls now! If you have hand, wrist, or arm pain and/or numbness and you’re at your wits end, give this a try. I thought it was nonsense when I heard about it years ago, but the relief and support was literally instant. It felt like I pretty much had normal hands again. I feel silly for not giving it a try sooner. Make sure to follow a good YouTube guide, and possibly get someone to help you cause it can be tricky to apply with one hand. But it gets easier with practice!Also, I’m not sure I understand rating a product low because you personally have an allergy to the adhesive. That’s like saying peanuts are bad because you have a peanut allergy. It is unfortunate that some people have allergies to adhesives. But obviously a tape that stays on oil producing skin for multiple days must have a very strong adhesive, and that will be irritating for some people. That does not make it a bad product. It is understandable to make people aware that it may irritate their skin, but to rate it one star because of it is kind of selfish in my opinion. It’s common knowledge that any adhesive can cause skin irritation. So if you have sensitive skin or have had contact irritation in the past, it’s a good thing to keep in mind. Otherwise, I wouldn’t worry about it. Just pay attention to how your skin feels, and if anything feels odd, get some baby oil or cooking oil, and remove the tape. Simple. I, and clearly thousands of others, have had absolutely no issues whatsoever. Giving low ratings for something that isn’t a product quality issue, but rather a personal use/compatibility issue, is an annoying thing I see on the reviews of many products.

This tape seems like it would be good for someone who doesn’t have sensitive skin. I purchased hoping to take up my 30 week pregnant belly, and it was great for a couple of days. However, when I removed the tape I was left with a pretty intense rash and dry skin that has lasted weeks. I won’t be using again for this reason, but I would have continued to use if it wasn’t for the skin reaction.

This has a quality adhesive that didn't irritate the skin and stayed in place! I kept it on nearly 2 weeks and even ordinary friction of pulling garments on and off over the tape didn't make it lose its form ,shape, or adhesion. This is more affordable than KT tape too; which is great because I use half a box at once covering all the areas that need it! I use OK tape for Lymphedema. My physical therapist recommends taping to keep the lymph ducts open too prevent congestion of fluids and infection from settling in. So far the advice works in my case. I cut each strip into 3 sections leaving an anchor at the top and the Ok tape doesn't run or split as a result of that type of cutting technique. Just another reason it is #1 and most excellent in my opinion. My chiropractor also uses this brand for taping her patients . I was hooked after she helped me use the tape one week in session. For injury or for preventative medicine( like in my case), or for chronic conditions this brand is Fantastic! It also holds up well in showering. One week I showered with the aide of cast covers and another week without. The tape was wet without cast covers; but it dried off in time and none fell off! Very Impressive! Going back to stock up on more!

Use to support and wrap bad knees instead of using brace.can stay on for 7 days,even showering.

5 stars overall. 3 just for this color. I have both knees wrapped every day so it’s go thru a lot of tape rather than use the big black ugly braces. This you can wear on the inside of pants. I like the roll as it’s easier to cut. For some reason not all ok tape colors behave the same. I always by the Pro not the original. Pro provides more support & stays on a really long time. The black is really sticky. I took a piece off to early and it pulled off enough of the 1st layer of skin that it needed a bandaid- the size of a quarter. The blue is a bit less sticky, same support but comes off sooner than the black. I ordered the pink but haven’t used it long enough to tell. I really wish there was a less loud color b/c I wear a lot of shorts. Disappointed in this color only.

This tape is precut into strips which is super convenient and gives you even strips every time. The adhesive is gentle at first, so if you need to pick it back up and reposition, you can do that no problem without compromising long term staying power. Once you have the tape where you want it, rub it to activate the adhesive. I’ve worn my tape for two days at a time and it stays exactly in place. Great price and good quality.I used this for medial knee pain so far and it gave me significant relief in every day activities while I let the strain heal. An easy way to support and injury without wearing a compression sleeve or brace. This tape is so comfortable you forget it’s there!
