Brio Radius Nail Clippers

As a man with large hands, I got tired of trying to hold a small nail clipper when using it. It was impossible to get a grip on that narrow pointed lever as it was unstable.Along comes Brio Radius. This product is great. Holes machined into the wide lever so it can not slip and you can get a grip. The Brio Radius looks like a piece of hi-tech designed sculpture.Finally, a clipper that not only functions perfectly but looks really cool as well.I know, they are only clippers but WOW!

For the record, I've only used the large pair. When I received them, a small piece of metal came off, which was concerning. Probably from the grinding operation they use to create the 'blades' and wasn't cleaned properly. Either way, no other pieces have fallen off and the clippers are quite nice. They're sharper than the ones that I lost (and then found...) so I'm using this pair over my old ones. Hopefully I won't lose these for quite some time, but I would definitely buy these again if I had to.

It was a little disappointing. Don't have this around your children because it's really sharp like the edges are not smooth. I cut myself trying to clip my fingernails and it hurt so much! I bought 2 of these, one for upstairs and the other one for downstairs. It clips well, but I feel unsafe having this around my house when I have a walking, curious baby!!

We have owned one pair of Brio clippers for almost 2 years and recently bought a new pair for our daughter. These clippers are well worth the price! Our first pair has remained razor sharp and held together with no issues. My husband and I have some toenails that are thick and these clippers cut them with ease. We have never had an issue with these clippers only doing part of the job. They have always clipped right through the nails leaving a nice edge, no jagged nail-tip that needs to be filed.

Revised review: Turns out these nippers aren't so strong (see photo). My husband was trimming his toenails, which is a formidable task but nowhere near a Dumb and Dumber scenario. Still giving them stars for the nail trimmers which are fine... so far.Original review: These are sharp, stable clippers that provide a clean, smooth trim. The fingernail trimmers do seem to have a slight catch if I press too hard, but maybe it's just because I'm pressing too hard. I do like them. Probably not the last pair of clippers I'll ever purchase, but so much better than anything available on a big box shelf.

I like that these come as a set, they do a nice job cutting nails, occasionally they don't always like to cut all the way through a nail, which is why I dropped them a star, but most of the time they do a really nice job. The file is integrated into the nail cutters themself.

Never put much thought into nail clippers until the ones I had for forever broke. So, I went to CVS, spent about 3 bucks and got clippers that didn't last a month. So, I spent 10 bucks, and those lasted 2 months. I read some good reviews on these and gave them a try and they really are as good as others say. The only downside for the manufacturer is I may never need to buy them again.

I bought these hoping to have a good pair of nail clippers in the house but was extremely disappointed when I tried them and they didn't even cut the nail. They didn't do a crappy job, they just didn't cut, period. And I have very thin nails, so the fact that they were unable to cut my nails is horrible. You are better off spending less than a dollar on some nail clippers from somewhere else. They may not be great, but they at least cut your nails.
