great for cold brew tea
I have several of these to keep the cold brew tea flowing. We don't drink coffee, but lots of tea. I typically use 4 - 5 tsp of my favorite loose tea and then fill with water. It steeps in the fridge for at least 4 hours and I have fantastic tea. I love all sorts. Before pouring, I will give it a little shake (lid still on and filter situated in the top proper), let it settle a bit, then pour. The lid fits nice and tight so no leakage. I really like that there is very little plastic (only the filter) - the base is glass and the top is silicone. Everything is easy to wash - I just pop it in the dishwasher (the lid, cap, and filter all on the top rack, and the glass container in the bottom). Highly recommended if you like to have iced tea at the ready - get two!

This is a high quality infusion glass bottle
I love this beautifully designed bottle, and especially love how it seals with silicone stopper. The filter piece has super-simple instructions to properly set, and it all fits together nicely. I'm glad I bought it and highly recommend if you want to cold brew interesting and healthy combinations - it's like making a tea sangria!!

Repeat Customer - High Quality
I love that I can now get the Hario tea diffuser in different colors. It is also a lot less expensive on Amazon than if you bought this from a corporate Tea Seller (TeaVana, Capitol Tea, etc.) I did buy my first one 10 years ago at Capitol Tea and it cost a small fortune. The silicone top is sturdy and that lid stays put. I have carried this tea vessel inside my handbags and never spilled a drop. It is dishwasher safe. I wash the lid on top rack. The glass comes out beautifully. It’s great for making any kind of tea, whether I use bags or loose tea. That little strainer attachment works. It is also very sturdy and comes in handy. This is a very well made vessel and the company seems very conscientious to me. They really concentrate on one thing: how to make your tea perfect and enjoyable. I give these for gifts.FYI: This glass is not exactly delicate, but it’s not Pyrex. Absolutely NO metal spoons or stirrers. I use quality silicone spatulas. It will break if you hit it too hard.

Great for loose leaf tea.
I love this bottle, but the rubber gasket stains and does not come clean.

Great for batches cocktails too
Ordered two of these for Christmas to batch cocktails and bring them to events. LOVED the filter inside meant for tea leaves, but helped to keep fruit and decorate herbs that were in the drink from coming out into the poured glass. It’s also removable if not needed or if you’re wanting pieces in your drink. Since it comes apart easily it is also easy to clean. Definitely recommend.

Best investment for cold tea enjoyers
Having constantly found myself wanting iced tea but never wanting to put the effort into brewing a single cup I finally took the plunge on this. I was a little reluctant due to the price point but now that I’ve used this pretty much every day since I got I’d say it’s worth every penny. The bottle itself is very sturdy and the filter allows for the maximum flavor to be extracted from the tea. The only downside to this product is how quickly I go through my loose leaf teas now!

Have 3 now
The media could not be loaded. Green lid for green caffeinated leaf tea and pink for herbal. Love it so much my kiddos got themselves one. I throw in whatever I’m in the mood for but usually it’s just loose tea, sugar or sugar substitute and lemon juice. I don’t like how the lemon rind affects the flavor after a day and ruined the batch so I stopped adding fresh lemon. But I use one tablespoon of loose leaf when I first fill it. It doesn’t take more than 5 minutes to flavor the water if it’s a quality leaf. I drink about half and then refill with more cold water and let it sit do its thing in the fridge for a strong brew; sometimes I just drink it immediately. All good tea leaves can be cold brewed according to my tea store, so I’ve experimented and found that to be true for me so far. I used to make sun tea in the summer and winter I’d boil water on the stove and then bottle them for cold brew. Now I just use this and save myself so much time
