love this thing. it's just one button to turn on and off, works quickly, and perfectly shows where I have and haven't applied sunscreen. I also use it to track when I need to reapply

This mirror is well made, solid. Decent image size. Simple operation. Opens out 180° You can easily see which spots you've missed on your face when spreading sun protection. It's also great for checking if and where sunscreen has worn off before applying more, during the day To see if you've removed all your sunscreen at night. I discovered I needed to do a double cleanse (oil first, soap second) to remove mine. Who knew? The mirror knows! Big bonus: check your clean face for invisible sun damage (freckles you can't see in regular light) before you apply your sunscreen. You can use this information to monitor the efficacy of skin actives on these spots, see what's actually working and what is not. All together an excellent anti-aging tool to fight sun damage!

Works great for cosmetics. A little lightweight, but sufficient. The battery holds a charge for months. It is set up to only do selfie shots, and it can’t save a photo, so it is somewhat awkward. To save a photo, I took a picture of a picture on the display. I just bought some fancy European sunscreen, and it turned out to be fake. In my photo, black is real sunscreen, white is fake. Worked great for revealing that!

Currently priced at $129.99 this is a pretty neat product that comes packaged with the mirror and a USB-A to USB-C, USB-C to micro-USB, USB-C to USB-C cable and a UV indicator card to tell you what SPF rating you should use (at a minimum) to protect your skin against UV rays. The product doubles as a power back (hence the variety of cables) with a USB-C input/output on one side and a power button and recessed reset button on the other side. The thicker part of the mirror is a display that shows your reflection (a little surprising at first as my face showed all black, but the sunscreen showed as white) with the other half being a regular mirror. I would never have thought of a product like this but appreciate what it does as wearing sunscreen is a huge part of taking care of our skin. With UV rays seemingly becoming more intense, wearing a good sunscreen is crucial to slowing down signs of aging and this mirror is an extremely useful tool to quickly check whether you have applied sunscreen (or need to reapply sunscreen). If it weren't for what I feel is a pretty high price point I would give this product a five star rating. There is an available $40 dollar off coupon and given how much cosmetic products cost I think one can make a strong argument for this being an important part of ones routine if they find comfort in ensuring they are wearing an adequate amount of sunscreen. Granted, one can be methodical and time the application of sunscreen throughout the day but with the included UV card and mirror you will no longer have to second guess whether your skin is protected. Overall I am quite happy with this product as it is one of those things that I never thought I'd want/need but now that I have been exposed to it, it's nice to know that I am a step closer to taking better care of my skin.

I measured the UVA output of this mirror using a Solar Meter Model 4.2 and found the readings to be extremely high at close range. This means the mirror actively emits UVA light (more than 365nm), which can penetrate the skin and eyes. Although the product claims it is safe, repeated or close-up use — especially without eye protection — may pose risks such as pigmentation (melasma, sunspots) or long-term skin aging. UVA is the same spectrum responsible for photoaging and deeper skin damage.
