Easy and great
Super easy to install and functions great!

Asus should have done this from the start.
Install was wicked easy, and they feel just as good as the factory sticks for tension. A very reasonably priced upgrade for peace of mind.

It is not official
This is not official(from ASUS korea) I contacted ASUS directly and here's the result: Thursday, January 15, 2026, 3:07 PM Dear ASUS Customer, Hello, Customer xxx. Was this product officially developed in collaboration with ASUS? · This joystick was not officially developed in collaboration with ASUS and is a third-party product unrelated to ASUS. 2. If it is an officially compatible product, will purchasing and using it affect the after-sales service for the XBOX ALLY X? · Any issues arising from the purchase and use of this joystick, or from user-initiated installation or replacement, may affect the official ASUS warranty for the XBOX ALLY X product itself. These issues may be considered Customer Induced Damage (CID). 3. If this is false advertising, why mention ASUS? · Mentioning ASUS's name, even though this joystick is not an officially compatible ASUS product, suggests a marketing ploy by the manufacturer or seller to sell their own joysticks. Plug n play
I got these to replace my broken stock ones and they were pretty much plug n play , I’ve had no issues with them

Your first pair might not work but they'll replace them asap
The first set i got were defective. The 2nd pair was great. Calibrated them on armoury crate and I don't know why people are saying the resistance is bad. It's not super tight. I personally don't play fps games so these were a big upgrad even if they weren't necessary for me I just wanted to have them for if I ever needed them. I have kept them on after putting back the oem sticks and saw the difference. Theyre worth the price but I don't think they're necessary but its more of a if you want something a little better than oem. If you want super tight then there's a few other companies that can satisfy that need. But other than that 5/5 stars. Highly recommend them if you've worn out the oem sticks.
