Complete blower replacement for Nutone LS100SE. Also suitable to replace LS80SE & LS50SE. This blower has a 3 prong plug but comes with a 6 prong plug adapter. Review: Pretty good replacement option - So, your Nutone LSx bathroom fan has failed. Since Nutone does not support this fan with spare parts anymore, you have 3 options: -Buy a new fan. This will mean prying the old housing off your support beams. Re-attaching your duct. Maybe cutting some dry wall. Doing some electrical work. Basically, expect to be on a ladder with your head tilted back for a few hours sucking dust. Not fun. -Find the replacement motor here on desertcart for $80.00. I did this in 2017. This is certainly easier than the new fan option. But it still requires you to take down the motor assembly, and really tear it apart. Getting the fan off the old shaft is particularly difficult. $80 is highway robbery for a motor, but hey, option 1 above sucks, right? The new motor is pretty loud, there is loud electricity sound (not just the air sound). My replacement motor lasted until mid-2020, then it starting having problems spinning the fan. -Get this product. Installing was very easy, the new unit fits perfectly. Took me less than 30 minutes. Much much quieter compared to the replacement motor. All I hear is air, no electricity sound. $190 is painfully expensive, but not so much more than the new motor alone, so I guess there is that. Hopefully it works for many years. Review: Exact Product And Excellent Shipping - This turned out to be the exact product I needed to replace the one that failed in my home. Simple to replace and basically plug and play. It would only be more simple if the fan wasn't located about 15 feet above the floor! Ha! But here is what impressed me. I hate paying extra for shipping. desertcart Prime has spoiled me. But there were no other great options so I bit the bullet. I ordered this on the Sunday of a long weekend (Monday holiday). I got the notice that the item was packaged and ready for carrier pickup before 9am Tuesday. It was delivered to my door on Wednesday and I had it installed and working that evening. It doesn't get any better than that! Quicker than Prime and I feel I got every penny worth. The fan itself is pricey, but cheaper than replacing the whole thing, especially if I needed to hire a handyman to do the work. I paid for the part and did the work myself so overall it was a huge win. If you have one of the models listed with the 3 pin/wire connector, don't hesitate to buy this as a replacement motor/blower assembly.

Exactly what I needed
As mentioned in other reviews, this blower replacement isn't cheap, but after a few weeks of use it runs really well. It's quieter than the original. I'm impressed with the quality of the unit. I had tried replacing just the motor previously, but it never seemed work quite right. Most importantly, it fits! The dimensions of the casing are odd, so finding a retrofit replacement seemed impossible. So it ended up being less money and time than having to cut out a new hole in the ceiling, get parts and install.

Super EZ install

phenomenal service
First unit was delivered within 3 days of ordering it! Basically plug and play installation but after about a week the motor started working intermittently. I contacted the company and they had a replacement delivered within 3 days. Again it plugged right in and has been working great. A bit louder than the original motor that was installed during construction but the replacement seems to pull a lot more air and the bathroom mirror does not fog up even after a long, hot shower. Packed the first motor in replacement box and dropped at UPS. Really a hassle free experience.

Easy instalation
This was the easiest part of my bathroom remodel. One easy to access screw, plug it in, flip the switch and a very quiet motor instantly comes to speed and works better than the original fan. Replaced a Nutone LS80SE. Ridiculously expensive but the perfect solution for a dead and discontinued bathroom fan.

Good replacement for the original fan
The new fan assembly fit ok imto the bathroom exhaust I originally installed about 20 years ago. I originally planned to just purchase the motor but it was a real time saver to have the entire fan assembly that just plugged in. All I needed was a six way screwdriver to remove and reinstall the mounting screws and dry paint brush to dust off the housing. It would have been nice if the blower was a little quieter but it fit well and the plug fit and no wiring was needed.

Excellent Replacement
I have been fighting with a pair of Nutone LS80se's for a couple of years. I considered replacing the units, but that can be a big job involving drywall work. When I saw these, I ordered two. As others have said, replacing the old units is a matter of disconnecting the Molex plug, removing one screw, sliding the unit out, sliding this one in, replacing the screw, and connecting its plug. After about a month, the units are quiet, the motors are solid, and I have, in effect, two new Nutone units only better. Somebody complained about having to use duct tape on the housing, and I had one of those two.....that replaced a Nutone unit that also had duct tape over a small gap. Not a biggie. Are they cheap? No, not in any way. But, replacing the Nutone motor, while roughly half to 60% of the cost, is not a minor task and you wind up with the same open motor instead of one of these sealed units. I have three more Nutones that have not been acting up, but assuming these stay available, will replace them with these when they start acting up.
