Top-Tier Fixed-Angle Sharpening Stones - Precision and Longevity
I’m very impressed with this 5-piece DMD diamond stone set of 1x6 stones for fixed-angle sharpening systems. The set offers the perfect range of grits: reprofile with the 240 grit when fixing a broken tip or changing an angle, raise a burr and apex the edge with the 360 grit, refine the scratch marks with the 600 grit, and then strop for a nice toothy blade that will work hard. If you have a Japanese blade, a “safe queen,” or your fidgeting EDC and want a mirrored, more delicate edge, refining the scratch marks to 1000 grit or even 1500 grit will produce a show-quality edge. These stones are not designed for freehand sharpening - they excel when used with a fixed-angle system. Under a microscope, grit contamination is minimal, which is rare for stones in this price range. They wear slowly and should give most sharpeners years, if not decades, of reliable use. The only downside is the included storage case - it’s fragile and doesn’t stay closed well. But that is an easy fix with a rubberband around the case. Sure, a sturdier case or even a cheap ziplock bag packaging would be a better storage option, even at a slightly higher price for the nicer case or a lower price for no case and the simple ziplock bag packaging. Overall, this set earns a solid 5 stars for their high-quality stones, the ideal grits range for all types of knives, and they are built to last. For anyone serious about sharpening with a fixed-angle system, this is an outstanding choice and Im certain that you come to appreciate these quality diamond and ceramic sharpening stones.

Good stones
Stones work perfectly in multiple sharpening systems. Quality is good and the abrasives feel of better than decent quality. Carrying case is great and separates stones while keeping them all in convenient place. Only issue with it is the clasp on the box looks to have been manufactured poorly and doesn’t stay closed with out having to put in extra effort. Overall a great item.

Great intro into resin bonded diamond stones.
Don’t have experience with any other resin bonded diamond stones but these were a definite upgrade to the diamond stones I was using. They need to be lapped before use but cut fast and give a mirror shine at 12k. Not sure if they are true to grit, but the higher grits don’t cut deeper than the lower ones. A complaint I’ve seen for the other DMD resin bonded stones on Alliexpress. EDIT: After closer inspection of the apex under a digital microscope I’ve changed my opinion on this set. There is clear tear out at the apex due to contamination of the stones. So I’m taking off 2 stars from my original review. Overall I think it’s probably best to invest in cheap diamond plated stones and a good higher grit resin bonded stone from a more reputable company. These do work, will last many years since it’s 3mm thick and will give you perfectly acceptable edges for everyday tasks.

Amazing value in resin stones and I mean AMAZING
These make for very good quality resin bonded Diamond Stones at a fair price. While there are definitely better by Brands like venev, hapstone, PDTools etc etc nothing can touch these for the dollar. You get four good performing resin bonded Diamond Stones for $50 when your major brands are charging upwards of $80 for one single Stone. I see people talking about these stones are too small to work and complaining about that these stones are not for free hand you can use them for freehand but they're made in a 1x6 pattern for fixed angle sharpeners that's why they are sized as they are. So if you're expecting a benchstone this is not a benchstone this is a 1 by 6 in fixed angle Edge Pro Style mounting plate resin- bonded Diamond Stone. They cut quickly they have very little grit contamination they don't load up overly bad even the 12000 Grit which is very uncommon the higher the grit you go the more they load up but the 1k, 3k, 6k don't hardly load up at all which is very nice the 12K doesnt load up hardly at all but the little it does is easily cleaned, load up is just part of resin bonded Diamond Stones or resin bonded diamond or CBN doesn't matter it's just part of resin bonded stones and these do a very great job of not loading up. These have very high concentration of diamond more so than your typical resin bonded stones. The diamond concentration in the stones is part of why they cut so fast now I will say this the stones do cut true to Grit in the 1k, 3k, 6k are as stated. the 12K is more like a 8K on your traditional JIS grit ratings. Now the 12K will absolutely give you a mirror edge finish but you with a lightly visible to the eye scratch pattern at certain angles as you're moving the knife around in the light. Still for $50 you can get a set of resin bonded stones that will last you many many years with a lot of use and a lifetime for people that don't sharpen that much that's capable of taking you from a mid-grit to a full mirrored Edge if that's what you're looking for. Nothing else comes close to these for the money not even in the same universe. Now if a professional or someone looking for professional quality edges and the slight grit contamination will be a problem for you because you need flawless mirror edges for customers than these stones are not for you because there is a, tiny bit of grit contamination in the 12k that's why the 12k acts lower than the stated Grit because of that grit contamination. Now if you're not looking for extremely fine Ultra consistent finishes then the stones will do great for you if you are looking for those extremely fine and consistent finishes then you're going to have to spend more money on a premium Stone brand. Dollar for dollar the performance is better than anything out there but you do have to keep that grit contamination in the back of your head and determine if slight grit contamination that will leave a light visable to the eye scratch pattern under the mirror will make the stones viable for you and that will determine whether they're worth it for you or not. I'll say it again, dollar for dollar there isn't any other stones on the market that offer as much as these stones do, not even close actually. These are 95% as good as my Jende resin bonded diamond stones and they are 69 dollars each VS these are 12.50 each as I said dollar for dollar nothing comes close. The only thing they need to do is make a low grit set to go with it, say a 80, 180, 320, 600 grit set would be a beautiful addition to their line as for 100 bucks you could have stones from heavy reprofiling all the way to a mirror edge. If they simply added a low grit set option or a full 8pc set for 80 grit to 12k for 100 bucks that would be the biggest deal in sharpening PERIOD. DMD your missing out on a ton of sells!! Make a low grit set to go along with it!

They work
Use it for the first time today, sharpen two knives, it worked very well. We'll see in time how they hold up.

So far so good
I've only used this item a few times on several pocket knives and it has performed well so far. item quality seems better than another affordable sharpening system I bought before. I hope this is durable enough to last a long time.

Great for the price
Great value for what it is. They're not Venev or PDT quality, but they leave a nice finish and they're a lot cheaper. Even if they wear down faster, these aren't a bad option for someone trying to find cheap diamond abrasives for their fancy knife steels with a ton of carbide content.
