Great sword for a knight.
Love this sword, perfect for a medieval knight party. Nice coloring and light weight, not foam or cheap looking.

It's bent
It's a pity it's bent. Even though it's just a toy, it's still a bit disappointing. Definitely not worth the price.

Super cool!
I like this sword, because it has a very realistic look. It's got a user friendly handle, and it fits perfectly in my sheath, which was made for an authentic sword. It is very lightweight, and the plastic material almost feels like a thick foam or a light plastic. Great value.

Plastic (not foam) but definitely capable of contact!
We weren't sure if this was plastic or foam, but my husband is a stunt man and sword choreographer for movies, so he's always looking for a safe practice weapon to use for actors who are learning. This is plastic, but has a solid enough tang to use for contact, without anyone getting hurt if someone misses their mark, or a move. The fact that the paint work looks legit even pretty close up is a bonus. Would work as an on-camera or on-stage prop just fine, and I doubt anyone would notice that its fake. Great prop, for costume, rehearsal, shows, or LARPing!

Cheap
This will easily break. It’s just a cheap plastic sword. It’s overpriced at $21.

Nice sword for cosplay
I bought this to go with a medieval costume. The sword has the right size and looks good for that purpose. The sword is "sturdish". If the intent is to do battle with it, I would look somewhere else. it will probably bend after a few hard hits. It's sturdy enough to be parading it around or as an accessory,

Looks great but too hard for dueling
This looks like a scaled down version of an authentic crusader sword. I'm not sure if there's an actual sword they used as a model, but it looks very similar to a standard illustration of an Oakeshott type XIa arming sword. The blade length on this is only 20 inches instead of 30 or more for the medieval swords it most resembles, but the overall effect is great. I appreciate that they didn't put any fantasy elements or gold or jewels on this, so it looks like a toy version of a real, working sword. My problem with it is that it's made of hard plastic instead of high density foam. It's just begging to be played with, but it hurts to get hit with, even at half speed. You give these to two 10 year olds, and it's just a matter of time before somebody's bleeding.I wish I could recommend this, either as a toy or a prop. I'd buy ten of these if they were made of good quality foam, and I would happily pay more if it came with a scabbard so I could build a Halloween costume around it.
